^You are wrong, i liked a lot Charlotte Parreli , the song was very good and i voted...but it came in low position.
i didn't say that Anna is bad, but it's not my taste, it's a good ballad, but ok.

No, of course not! :) Of course there some of us who actually like the swedish entries. But we never vote for Sweden! I will always be giving this example coz I'm really mad with our voting that year: 2006 Carola - Invincible. OK I love almost every choice that Sweden makes BUT in 2006 I wanted Sweden to WIN. Every year I am hoping that Sweden will win but back then I WANTED Sweden to win. I truly believe Carola deserved to win. Yes, she had a schlager song but back then schlager wasn't dead in the ESC. The result? Greece gave 0 points to Sweden! 0 points! Not even 1 as a thank you for their 12 points they gave to Helena in 2005! And of course you will say that we don't vote for someone just to thank them for last year's points but Carola DESERVED it!

Oh God! I always wanted to share my feelings about that year in an ESC forum!

To tell the truth Karola was better than monsters in Finland, i liked it more, and she was pretty cool on stage. I didn't want Finland to win but Europe had other opinion, like Carola, and yes Greece don't give points to Sweden, and i don't know why, and Sweden is not voting for Greece many times....i think we won't know why... never...

Helena got oodles of points from Sweden, partly cos it was a cracker of a song but also cos she grew up there.

This Swedish entry is going to be top 5, it's lovely.

And as a Brit, please let me apologise for our dismal entry this year. We haven't got a clue have we?

This is the best ballad this year. No doubt. I also think she's the best singer. I love Anna's voice. But I still feel little bit disappointed. I think Salem should had been a better choice in a year with many ballads. Also the international juries liked Salem better than Anna. Anna was low ranked by the international juries. And this worry me. I'm not sure Sweden will make it to final.

But for the song, performance and artist: 12 pts!

 She looks at 30 ...

That's what I thought too  But I like this song, I gave it 8 pts. so far, but I guess that this will be one of the growers this year.

I like Sweden's choice, it's a really good song, but it could have been better. I was hoping for Timoteij, but you can't have it all I guess. ''This Is My Life'' is actually one of best Eurovision ballads I've heard so far. It's a bit risky entry though, I have no idea how will it end up in actual contest.
I really like her voice. It's kinda strange, but really strong, though this song hardly lives up for it's potential. And I can't believe she is only 18, even if I've heard some other musicians that are very young and yet have better vocal abilities than most of others.

Anna started her career in Idol and ended up 5:th. (Kevin Borg won that season).

This is her audition to Idol
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HQntZguk-8

There you can see why she has a guitar in the beginning of the preformance..to remember the viewers about her audition. :)
So happy that she gets a chance to success, cause you can't waist such a big voice like she has! :D

So happy with our chose and since Semi 2 really sucks this year, we should absolutely go through to the final.
If we win ESC, we'll see, I don't care to be honest! :p

What???? No way! She looks as old as Charlotte Perrelli and Charlotte Perrelli already looked older than her real age!

About the song, I think it's the best choice and certainly one of the best, if not the best, among this year's ballads. 8 pts from me. :)

This was exactly what I feared would happen. She was among my least favourites so I'm far from impressed by the Swedish choice this year. On the other hand, it's not bad nor does it stand out for me as something memorable. It's just boring. I'm not touched by it. It's simply too forgettable, just like all the other ballads we have this year.

Besides, the Swedish viewers voted pretty much against the International jury this year, so I have my doubts whether this has top-5/10 potential or not. I have my doubts. I do not see Sweden winning. Unfortunately that's not a scenario I see likely to happen this year, and considering that Melodifestivalen contained other great artists like Salem, Ola, or Timoteij, I think this was an ubelievably dissapointing outcome.

Sorry neighbours! You'll probably receive high points from us as usual, but personally I can't stretch it any further than 0 points!

A definate grower! I love it now! It's my favourite. But at the first listen I didn'T get it's sweetness (which isn'T that good in Eurovision)
