Llegó la mami
La reina, la dura, una Bugatti
El mundo está loco con este party
Si tengo un problema, no es monetary
Yo vuelvo loquito’ a todos los daddies
Yo siempre primera, nunca secondary
Apenas hago doom, doom
Con mi boom, boom
Y le tengo dando zoom, zoom
Por Miami

Y no se confundan
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazones
Solo existe una
No hay imitaciones (Na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, morе, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suеlo, lo, lo, lo, lo (Yeah)
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video, watch it slo mo

Te gusta todo lo que tengo
Te endulzo la cara en jugo de mango
Se te dispara cuando la prendo
Hasta el final, yo no me detengo
Take a sip of my cola-la
Un poco salvaje na-na-na
Make it go like pa-pa-pa-pa
Like pa-pa-pa-pa-pa

Y no se confundan (Y no se confundan)
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready (Yo siempre estoy ready)
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazone’
Solo existe una (Solo existe una)
No hay imitaciones (Na, na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo (Oye)

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suelo, lo, lo, lo, lo
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suelo, lo, lo, lo, lo

Tanxugueiras: Yes yes yes please. The winners for me! I loved that performance and the staging! I see a lot of negative comments about the dancers but I thought they were good. I liked the part were one of the girls danced with them. They need to work at the camera angles though.
Yaaaaay Alca, I agree with this 100%! xyaaay :)
They use these shirtless dancers in the official video of their song "Midas" too... ;)

 iv been a pro gambler on ESC for 15 years and worked for 12 years for the biggest racecourse bookie in Northern England where i priced his gambling books on the course pre race,i think i know how odds work, this selection and Spains odds are all about Rigoberta,if she doesnt win they go to 50s,if she wins they go to 12s ,simple as that

Strange that pro gambler doesn't know that these odds are nothing at least until rehearsals and that when only 3 songs are known you can bet very small amount, like 1000$, on, let's say, San Marino, and enjoy it being at the 1st place xqueenbitch

Of course I titty would be the first if she wins, because some locals would bet a bit on her to win, but that's also true for any winner of Benidorm

Just to remind, odds for 2011 at the beginning of May, right before the euroweek started:

1. France
2. UK
3. Estonia

So, what happened, Mr. Pro Gambler? xcookie

she could have recorded backing vocals. But she sang live. If RTVE didn’t allowed Luna Ki to use autotune do you think they would allow her to use playback? Never! Not in a million years.

Hahahaha @Koori, reffering to @hunty73 for not knowing about betting odds, was a total wrong church to pray at.. Sorry..

Don't be. Poland has been 1st few weeks ago and now it's at 11th place. So, what happened?
But surely Spain is in top because of Rigoberta and not strong selection overall and fact that we know 3 songs so far xqueenbitch

I have always been a fan of the ESC but i lost interest in the Festival when the Spanish eurofans appeared.
I love Secreto de Agua but I am able to admit that even though her performance was great it was not flawless.
Spanish Eurofans are completely unable to see any flaw in the performance of their favourites and Terra' s performance was a mess to say the least.

Conclusion - even with the public vote and a festival you can't help Spain to get into top 10 ESC due to their tragic taste. I'm not sorry if I have just insulted anybody.

1. Those no.1 favorite Las Gallegas appear on stage and in terms of music sound like all Eastern EU/Balkan traditional entries combined from back then in 00's.

There's nobody outside of Spain, not even here in the Balkans, that would be impressed by this.

Give them a bad position in the ESC GF, for example to perform after Albania, and I can see Spain cancelled again below position 20.

Judging from their press coference statements and the hysteria on twitter, they actually thrive thanks to the internal Spanish political problems with multilingual and multiethnic identity. I see why the Spaniards find the symbolism of their song important and compelling, but that message will not be important to the European public vote in the night of GF as most of the Europeans are not educated about Spain's internal problems, nor do they even know that Spanish linguistically is not a language (what we refer to is actually Castellan).

Some intellectuals who even know this couldn't care less for the Spanish internal problems if they hear a better song.

And they will.

2. Paloma Secreto - she bores me. As much as Blas Canto last year.

3. Coco Chanel - Beyonce from Ali Express, zero vocals, autotuned to the level where human voice disappears, should take some singing lessons from Hurricane haha

4. The fourth qualifier I can't remember even

Azucars, whose song I even play occasionally due to my fascination with Andaluz music, disappointed with uninovative approach to their performance and haven't deserved to qualify anywhere. However, the song remains on the playlist.

Nothing to add but - Rayden, come to the rescue haha

Oh wow... rarely do we see a performer slay this hard in NFs. After seeing the clip I was not interested in the rest of the semi, and the song is average at best.

Wow I can buy your review of Tanxugueiras because you give your reasons but after that what is left is: this one bores me, the other one is a Beyonce from Ali Express, the next one I dont remember... And finally please Rayden (who happens to be your fav) come to the rescue.
Are you sure you are not a Spanish eurofan in disguise? You have exactly the same attitude as them.

I don't understand why the odds see "Ay Mamá" this high... is just giving me Bottom 5 vibes again. It sounds very confused and dated. It sounds like cheap schlager music in some parts o_O

Anyway this Semi was meh. I generally don't have a real favourite in this selection but I enjoyed Chanel's performance a lot. The song isn't amazing but people also watch Eurovision for a great show and the dancing is impressive, she outdid Eleni (and people are looking for that). This could make Top 10-15.

You ca rewatch the video and see it for yourelf.. ;)

I just did and she sang live. The song isn't really that hard to sing.
She has great breath control because she wasn't out of breath at any point. Heavy breathing would be very easy to see but even after the big dance break her breathing was visibly normal. It is possible to do this, it's just a lot of work bc you need to be quite fit. A lot of female singers are skinny but not athletic (or they smoke), so they are out of breath.

And why would RTVE let her lip synch? They wouldn't even allow another contestant to just use filters on their live singing.
If she wins she couldn't lip synch in Eurovision and would flop which would then lead to the network getting a lot of shit for dropping the ball again, so why would they do that to themselves?

From the qualifiers the performance I liked the most was "Raffaela". It was fun, joyful and most importantly kept my interest. I'm not really sure if something like that would do well in ESC tho.

"Terra" was indeed a disappointment live, the performance was messy and kinda random at some points. The dancers don't add anything at all and if they are going to have dancers it would make more sense to me if they were female ones. I also didn't like the camera angles, it needed way better work at that aspect (though no performance had particularly good camera work, but this one really needed it) and also the lights used at some points were too bright. It was really underwhelming for me but at least the vocals were great.

"Secreto de agua" was great on every aspect, however there wasn't a wow moment. As much as I liked the performance it just wasn't that captivating. It feels like something that would do well 10 years ago, but nowadays would pass unnoticed.

"SloMo" was nice, I don't get particularly excited for these kind of performances but she did great. In the video I saw, it seemed like she sang live most of the song and parts she wasn't singing were the very obvious ones, so I don't really get the lip syncing accusations. Also I didn't really like the outfit but ok.

Overall I'm not very impressed by this semi, the song I liked the most didn't even compete (though I hope she would perform even just as an opener, not as a competitor). I hope the second semi will be better.

Yesterday I broke two fo my toes and wasn't able to watch the semi but after seeing the performances with some pills influence, here are my 2 cents:

Chanel's song still sounds like a bottom 5
entry but her performance was absolutely mesmerising, stunning and incredible 🔥
Still hoping for Rayden as well but Chanel was such an incredible performer! Still blown away! Like @I bims mentioned, her breathing techniques were absolutely incredible. She was fully in control and visually, it was a very captivating performance - the song itself is a bit...meh?

"Terra" were my favourites tonight but unfortunately, I didn't like that performance at all. Oder course, it's difficult to stage such a song right, imo, but the dancers don't do it for me. Also, the more I listen to this song, the more I think of it being slightly annoying. I can't help it but it's not as charming, mesmerising and unique as Shum or a few other ethno-entries in Eurovision. Honestly, I can totally see Spain getting another bottom 5 placing with them - even though it wouldn't have been deserved.

Honestly, I think that Rayden or Rigoberta needs to slay in the other semi to prevent Spain from being disappointed by the actual results once again.

 Hope you are okay and not in too much pain!

Otherwise I agree on everything you said!
Thank you so much. I'm alright. I even was able to give a lesson via zoom yesterday but without the pills, it is really hurtful. I just hope the toes get back to normal..seeing them like that was...eh...disgusting? XD 😆

I hope to be able to see the final of Benidorm...now I'm glad I didn't book flights flights Spain after all...

No soy ningun tipo de Eurofan ESC Bubble fan. Amo todos los Ibericos y la musica Andaluz, por ejemplo Canelita, Bisbal etc. Saludos desde ex Yu. ;)
