Miki is certainly doing his to make it memorable, and I like the inclusion of a 'band'.

First time in ages I'm happy with what we're sending. This is not a song to please certain audiences, we're not sending something written for Eurovision, it feels like people finally forgot the "that song sounds so international, let's send it!" / "let's send a spectacular voice even if the song is bad because juries will eat that!", it feels like we just don't care anymore, if we're going to end bottom, let's do it our way. And I couldn't be happier. 7 years ago we were sending songs written by foreign people and now we just chose something written by a band that rarely gets played on radio stations here, even after being active for like 15 years. And Miki seems to be really excited with the whole thing, which is even better

I really like La Venda! It's a fun song! Miki seems nice but he's not a great performer, imo. He needs to improve until May. Also, to me it feels like he "speaks" the verses... he's not singing them. But anyway, the song is so perfect for parties! And it should be a classic when it comes to carnival playlists. Along with Gypsy Kings!

For some reason, I still have a feeling that Spain won't do well once again. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Oh and Miki looks so much like Sean Penn! Right?

I like. Basic lyrics and melody, but ''Strength in Simplicity''. Spain finally sounds like Spain. I hope they will make the ESC performance interesting and won't destroy it like they did in 2016.

Easy to like if you are used to such a sound, I can see it being pleasant on the night. At least it's a dance song that's lively, rather than the kind of diluted stuff that tends to get hailed as a 'banger' in Eurovision. Reminds me of D'Nash "I Love You Mi Vida".

This song grew on me a lot shortly before the full songs were published. I prefered 'Muérdeme', but: 1. the revamp was terrible + 2. Maria in her performance had the same energy as me when I wake up (=zero), not to mention her non-existent dancing skills... she was a real troll when she said -after Miki won- "I hope you've liked my performance"

I don't regret voting for 'La venda'. I guess we all thought 'We're not going to succeed at Eurovision anyways, so let's send something to have fun'

And it's very 'La Pegatina' style, very genuine in this sense.

I guess "muérdeme" was overrated since day 1. I've always prefered "la venda" even if the lyrics don't make any sense but the majority don't speak Spanish so I guess you might have a decent spot in the final xD

Well if she had put a single ounce of effort into her performance then she might have actually won it. It was clear from the start she wasn't interested in the song, or going to esc and so basically threw the entire thing. It was awkward to watch her, tbh I thought it was a super disrespectful thing to do to the songwriters. Natalia didn't want to go to esc either and was vocal about it, but at least she appeared to be trying and have an interest. She was super great in 'Nadie Se Salva' but that song wasn't for Miki, although I think at the end i'd have preferred that over La Venda. Tbh if I were Spanish i'd have been spamming votes for Maria to try and make her win as punishment for her attitude, even if it weren't in Spains interest so much when coming to esc.
