Yes it is still geoblocked in Greece for some reason but you can easily watch it by using VPN. Opera broswer has by default VPN!

Hello guys, I am new and greetings from Serbia.

I want to leave my first post here, for my favourite this year.

I really like trend that Salvador Sobral started, where every year we have this type of song. Last year it was Lithuania, and now Slovenia.
Real emotion on scene, emotion shared by two people that are in love. It is easier for me to understand because of similarity of our languages. So pure, sincere and honest.
I really see this as dark horse, but I don't want to skip steps, let's first see them going trought, even if they are among favourites (odds are 1.15), which is pretty likely, but we saw shocking eliminations last years, Sennek, Greta Salome, Maria Olafs...

Hope to have nice conversation with all of you :)

Welcome! Nice to see someone stanning for this entry as well! I love its pure emotion as well. I don't get people saying that this track lacks emotion and true feelings because I consider this to be very pure and genuine.

This is perfection !!!!!!

The song, the visual, the emotion, the mood they create on stage....... This really should be Slovenia's best result at Eurovision, it's just that unique.

I would be really happy if it happens :D
But, let it be the best place in semifinal era (to date - Maja Keuc 2011, 13th place), I think it is achieveable. If it makes copy-paste with result of my last year favourite - Ieva from Lithuania, 181 points, 12th place, I would be satisfied :D

Sooo... Number 5 in semi 1 it is. xthink

It's a bit earlier than I expected, but it's definitely a good spot considering the acts performing before and after: Zala & Gašper will stand out in a good way. "City Lights" had the same starting position, hopefully "Sebi" will follow the same path and more results-wise.

The first half has less heavyweights, so I'd be surprised if it wasn't enough to secure their qualification. xyes I was worried that they would get screwed by You-know-who.

I am absolutely in love with this song. The language, the intimate feel of it, I love everything about it. I really hope it'll do well.

I've watched their latest interview. Nothing will change in Tel Aviv, they won't be promoting the song... NOTHING!

I've posted only one comment and I hope they see and read it: hopefully they will change their clothes, cos otherwise we might have the same problem as we had it with Maraaya when Marjetka simply didn't want to understand that she looked ridiculous in that white wedding dress with those headphones! Argh!

And one more thing. Whatever they are asked, they always repeat the same thing. They repeat that answer STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF as a mantra. It is starting to get on my nerve! Argh. Okey, I will put them on ignore. I love the song and I hope they will do well in TA, but otherwise... I'll keep silent.

idk to me the selection staging was perfect. it was haunting and mesmerizing, hypnotic even. This song, as is shown in my signature, is my fav this year, but studio version didn't put me in that kind of trans that the live performance did. correct lighting and camera work will make it stand out. When we're old didn't need bells and whistles. Sure there were few tv special effects but i don't think they changed anything. It was all Ieva and her emotions on stage. Nothing really distracted from the song.
The only difference is that this is not in English. But i doubt this will hurt this song much. It's not a complicated message song. Everyone understands love and soul connection. Also to anyone who speaks a Slavic language there's "snezhinka" (snowflake, to those who don't speak any of those languages). It's so adorable and cute to randomly hear a word that you understand and that means the same in your language. And a cute word too. People will remember this. And there are a lot of people who speak Slavic languages who will be voting. Just this one word will make them remember the song might make them send a few votes. Delegation will need to choose this portion for recaps to maximize the impact.

oh it's "snezhinka" song! it was very good! imma vote for it!

I do wonder if them not going to pre-parties is their choice or RTVSLO's. Come to think of it, there's no rule from one year to the next: Lea Sirk went to Amsterdam, Tel Aviv and Madrid if I remember correctly. It may be a matter of factors: money, schedule, will...

Personally, I'm not sad not to see them because firstly pre-parties have no impact on the results, and secondly ballads (and quiet songs in general) aren't really suitable for such events where people talk loudly and get drunk.

They'd be wiser to spend their time and money elsewhere (upgraded staging I'mlookinatchu) and focus their efforts on how they'll present themselves to Europe come May.

I agree, they aren't going (as they explained themselves) to these promo concerts because of the concerts they arranged and got already paid already before their victory. But, don't get me wrong, there are many different ways of promoting your song. But they are not doing much of promotion here at home either. I don't know, they seem passive.

I got used to it already. I only hope that they will get better clothes and that's it. I really hate those baggy pants and sweaters.
