I like it, I find it magical and quite spellbinding (the mood the melody evokes, the lyrics esp. after finding them all, the lights ...). I even like that it does not have a chorus in a traditional way, it makes it feel more intimate & engaging in this case and should stand out. I love their interaction on stage, how they stand ...

I'm re-watching the performance, and it moves me the same way it did when I first saw it.

The staging sure enhances the atmosphere of the song, but Zala & Gasper are the true stars there: the way he holds her hand at the beginning, the way she looks at him while singing... Are these two a couple? I want those closeup shots of their faces in Tel Aviv, I do find them really charming and moving.

This kind of song has never been done before at Eurovision, so it'll be interesting to see what happens, but I remain hopeful because it's accessible and you don't need to get the lyrical content to feel it and like it (hence why I hope it'll stay as is).

The song is A+. I'm going to stan for Slayvenia one more year, my favourite ESC country xheart

I want a confirmation that the song will stay in Slovene ASAP.

I doubt they'd translate it, but I'd like make sure we'll hear "Sebi" as is.

I've read the public call by RTV SLO and nothing is written there regarding the language in the rules of selection. Maybe I've overlooked, but since some of the songs were in English already, I guess the same rule aplies as the last year - i.e. you have to sing the song in the language in which it was chosen at EMA. In any case, I am 99,99% sure it will stay in Slovenian. I don't think one can translate lyrics to English and keep the feel and meaning of the original. I really love Slovenian lyrics, they sound sooooo beautiful.

Bless them xheart I ship them so hard already.

Their eyes and facial expressions... I can't xheart Even in the interview they made for EMA, they seemed so pure and genuine and it showed tonight as well imo.

I like that they haven't "staged" themselves with fake expressions and moves and whatnot. They're just them.

Regarding the staging, I like this outer space theme a lot, I demand an upgraded version of these backdrops (and outfits) in Tel Aviv. I like how they used the spotlights to structure the space (like shooting stars). Honestly, I'm starting to think they could go places... and by that I mean REAL good places.

Juries won't dislike this, the composition is too modern and solid. And among OTT acts, "Sebi" could shine big time with televoters.

From what I read on the internet, the reactions are almost unanimously positive. Even those who rooted for the pre-show favourites acknowledged Zala & Gasper were a dark horse and deserved that victory.

I hope Eurovision will give them the media coverage and success they deserve in Slovenia, talent should be rewarded.

This wasn't one of my favourites from the snippets, but I won't complain too much about it winning. Inmate would've been my favourite out of everything chosen so far, so that's a bit of a sad loss, but I didn't think it really had a chance anyway.

As far as Sebi goes... the song could really go either way for me going forward. I'm saying 5 points for now, but it could grow hugely or fall by a couple, I think. It's a bit slow, but the atmosphere has potential.

What I do know is that it worked live - the vocals were good, I liked the backdrop, and the main singer had a good presence. Though the other guy standing there looked a bit awkward, just spending most of the song swaying awkwardly from side to side. It's got the potential to improve further if he just... I don't know, tweaks his posture or something a bit.

Okey, since I don't have "ear" for music - nor talent (but I enjoy music a lot), I must admit that I am quite surprised about what you said about the composition. From the comments on YT, I could gather a few comments saying that the song doesn't go anywhere - which is true, but there are many saying that the music is captivating and atmospheric. I am a bit confused to be honest, but from the first reactions I must say that people are actually quite inclined (and strangely we are not bottom 3 in those YT ESC top's as every year).

Hmmm, I don't know, tuorem, I actually like they are simple, without makeup, corky etc. Perhaps nothing should be changed, cuz this could actually make them stand out. Everyone goes for bombastic, kitch, over-the-top performance, and people might perhaps like this absolute minimalism combined with this ambiental etheral sound. Well, let's see what happens. But I am most certainly pleased with our choice. Hm, second year in the row. That's strange....

You know that guy wasn't just standing there. He was holding her hand - they are a couple :) I don't know perhaps they should make out on the stage to make it more interesting

Really glad to hear you saying this. I'd be laughing hard if we qualify again this year.

On the other hand, when Lea Sirk handed the trophy to Zala and Gašper she said to them: Stay as you are!

And then when she hugged Raiven, she said: I cannot fuckin believe it.

One can clearly hear her swearing in live  Obviously Lea feels bad for Raiven.

i am devastated you are not into this song. it seems 100% up your alley. they have such good chemistry on stage too. i guess we really don't choose how our hearts will feel :(

Lavieenrose managed to work out I'd not be for it. He wrote to me:

If I had to write a song with my only guidelines being "I love it and you hat it," I would basically write that

My problem is that nothing happens in it and it goes nowhere. There's not a moment in the song I can point my finger at and say "I like that". The piece of music doesn't bother me. It's fine to listen to. If I give it my attention though then it becomes not fine because it's a struggle. I just can't connect with it. I find it insipid which is a great shame, as of course I like getting behind indie or alternative songs at the contest. Maybe over time my feelings might change a bit. It's not a Slovenian Mercy at least, so there's a positive. Three listens of Sebi now though and I still feel exactly the same:| I do like electro/synth pop as well. Spent yesterday night listening to the new Glass Candy EP and that had me slayed.

I just watched the Kaos performance, and what a waste. That was an intriguing package. I could have had a third song for this year I actually would have given a half damn about. I have to keep reminding myself that Godhat is coming, otherwise I'd just give up on ESC 2019 and take up online Bingo or anything less frivolous. A song from quite possibly my least favourite genre of music is currently sitting 4th in my ranking. Like gosh, someone help me out.

This is like a fairytale..

Okay, today I experienced 2 fairytales, one from far North with Jon performing at MF and now the Alpine one (from sLOVEnia) you were telling me..

Maybe I haven't yet cause there's 24 songs competing and it would actually require me giving an afternoon of my time to listen. Also, Dragana isn't there.
