Cause new is new and old is old and I still sound like I have a cold,
the revamp totally doesn't even matter, the song is still as lame as ever

Hey, I didn't say Slovenians were conservative! EscGeek said they were :D Tastes differ, and your mother certainly was into April's glittery clothing that year :D I didn't mind tbh, it fitted the song imo, you had two different and equally good options in 2011 to me: the serious and "boring-looking" one, versus the uplifting and shimmery-looking one. However, I admit I found Maja gorgeous with her long straight hair and her dark blue slit dress

Personally, I don't think that pink hair would be that off-putting to viewers - considering what Raiven sang (that is, a serious song) - to work against her in the televote. Actually, the song might have been more "unappealing" than her looks imo, because it sounded different than your everyday song, as CatEye highlighted it.

Tuorem, do not take it personally. My post was intended to make a point about misconceptions/misperceptions of people. I mean, come on, we really like to draw funny conclusions about people based on one silly observation :) The other day someone called me a whore cuz I only said the Montenegrino guys look hot :geek: Am I? :)

I don't take it personally :p I just didn't want you to think I meant Slovenians were conservative. By the way, who the hell called you like that? It truly escalates quickly if one can't say someone look hot anymore without being called dirty names.

I know you don't think we are conservative  In fact, my reply to you was more directed to others that read our debate... At this point, I think I've figured it out you are a sweet guy who would never say anything bad about others :) As for the dirty names, just forget it. I've told the guy that this was his first and the last time he ever called me by this name. And yes, I was a bit shocked too...

So that next time you make a point about how biased Eurovision fans are against female performers, someone else can forever pull out that time you called a woman performing at Eurovision "not good-looking" xrose

I'm not a fan of this entry but still the fact that it's lower than :pl: :be: and :dk: is kind of unfair IMO

When I want to search Regina's EMA-song on YouTube, the text that appears when I try to write the title is "regina alice in every way"

Not unfair in the sligthest. All of the songs above are way more memorable than this nothing of a song. It's like Belgium 2000 all over again. Lame song, lame singer and a lame reason why it even won the NF.

Also I'm glad that she got the worst position from the second half. I hope that Switzerland will improve the vocals, so that this will finish dead last.

Maybe its behind :pl: cause :pl: is ten times better? Just a theory

I don't think so. :pl: is just above :sl: in the ranking on wiwibloggs. Colours of Your Life has a small group of fans on this forum but majority doesn't seem to like it. Deservingly IMO

If you're going to use this forum as an example, Poland's entry seems to have a decent spread of opinions around it - some people love it, some tolerate it, some hate it. For Slovenia's, there's that same mix of some people tolerating and some hating it, but I don't feel I've seen anyone who passionately loves it yet. If the best a song can inspire from even its supporters is 'it's okay I guess', it's probably not a great song.
