No Celeste?... xcry
I read somewhere yesterday that they had already chosen him in 2011, but then not... and now apparently YES!?
Whatever!, this will bring diversity to the field and that's nice.. I had just hoped for something even more groundbreaking :( Nice song though. 7 points.

It´s ok... not a masterpiece, but there are worse songs this year - 7 points.

Its not bad at all but I am not sure if people who listen to this kind of music actually watch ESC and I do not see juries giving it many (if any) points.

and of course there are those people childishly giving zeeeero points just for the sake of it. Everything is as it's supposed to be here

Yeah, I know. Everything in Eurovision world is either a 12 or a 0. I gave this a 12 because I love it, but I almost never give a song a 12 or 0.

Me neither... I understand that it can be really tempting sometimes to give a huuuge douze points or a big fat zero, but i try not to get caught up by my desperation, and instead judge the songs in a more sane and realistic way :)

exactly why would giving a certain song 0 points have to be childish? i listened to the song couple of times already, tried to find something in it, but there was nothing for me.. and i actually don't have anything against this type of songs, this one is just really bad for me, so i gave it 0 points.

It's not childish to give a song 0 points if you don't like it, different people, different taste, simple as that.
Besides, isn't the idea to pick your 10 fav songs, rate them 1-8 and 10 and 12 points? The rest get 0 from me from sure, I am very easy on the 00-button in polls.

I just think it's cheap to give a song 0 points...
It's like: "This song doesn't really catch my interest... Wooow, now I really hate it. It's bad. 0 points!" or else people are like: "This song sounds respectable enough to me... Wooow, now I really love it. It's great. 12 points!"
Just because it sounds uninteresting to you, it doesn't mean that you have to give it 0 points. "Uninteresting" doesn't equal "horrible", and "acceptable" doesn't equal "fantastic". Control yourselves.
That's how i see it.

I quite like it: the chorus could be catchier, but overall, I think I've found another contender. 10 points

even tho I understand your point, I'm with Knubelznarm here.
I gave only one 0 this year, and it was for Georgia (sorry Georgia, but that really is 0). there's a lot of songs that aren't smth special to me but those get small pts (1-4).

besides, voting the way you described it makes perfect sense only if you're voting when all songs are released. but if I'm voting one by one, through some period of time (like I am with esc songs), I have to judge every song for itself xshrug

Why did he have to change his name?

Because he needed something equally silly fitting his hairdo :)

I don't like stage names in general, and I think his own name sounds better.
