Or Kristina with Horehronie version 2

I think someone else with Horehronie v.2 ;)

I like Kristina's soft voice in studio version, but she seems too much nerves on stage though :(

Horehronie the song is just perfect to me though, a follow-up I wouldn't mind, as long as it has its own character.

STV should make an official statement in a few days. Meanwhile there are speculations that negotiations with Miro Smajda succeeded.
Also few sites hinted that he's still considered as the most possible option.

Damn, I was really hoping for someone else.

Oh well... atleast they're in (surprisingly to say the least, I actually thought they would withdraw already last year).

Well, not my first pick, but if it's between her and Miro then Mista all the way!

But apparently it seems they've chosen Miro afterall... :(

Re: SLOVAKIA 2012

Thomas Puskailer and Barborou Balúchovou are reported to be the two singers for the Slovakian internal selection, Nový Čas newspaper and eurocontest.cz reported few moments ago. Thomas Puskailer seems to be the favorite to represent Slovakia in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest as he is more popular the newspaper claims. He entered the local Pop Idol show while he released his debut album last year. Barbora Balúchová is also coming from a talent show and she has a CD album in her discography while there are rumors she is pregnant.

I don't know why, but those news made me laugh

and eew @ all these ex- talent shows participants spreading all over ESC.

Anyways, it's the song that counts, I don't know these names at all though, but then again I'm not too familiar with Slovakia's music scene in general.

and another candidates from Idol
Between them 2 I'd chose Thomas though Miro would be a better option imo.

Agree about this! And it's very unfortunate.

I'm surprised they're still in though, good sports.

They deserves at least once to be in final...

*sign*
I think, if Slovakia will reach the final, also a comeback from Czech Republic would be possible.

Re: SLOVAKIA 2012

I'm not sure that Miro will represent Slovakia this year. Today he announced the end of his music career ;) very surprising news...

"I would like to express how I really appreciate your support, love, smiles and everything that you've dedicated to Miro Šmajda since 2009 till now." Miro's said. "And about the last steps i have taken these days, i have a reason for that and even though I don't plan to take any concerts or continue in my music career, I do it all for you my dear fans. I'm really happy about my life and I'm still with you."

Kind of surprising message from such a young newcomer.

Is he pursuing a career in gay porn or something? The message is kind of werd

Anyways, sounds like there's a serious undertone.

Anyways, hope it's nothing serious, atleast we will not have him in ESC I guess (which imo is a good thing).

LOL. I wouldn't be surprised if he did some gay porn (since many Czech and Slovak guys do that, just for the money)... but I have to say that this article was published in Czech tabloid (but overall, their news are almost always accurate)...but that article also stated that his participation in ESC is still unsure, but Slovak broadcaster is also negotiating with Thomas Puskailer and Barbora Balúchova (both are former Idol contestants, as well as Miro is)
