While in every-day life..I'm not a big fan of turbo-folk...I must admit this type of music would do very well at ESC for Serbia. Especially if we send modernized versions of turbo folk, mixed with electro sound..or smth like that, we have a chance. If we send ordinary pop... yeah..we can qualify, but we can be 10-15th place at best.
So...I agree with u...RTS should open mind for cheap and catchy turbo-folk. But knowing RTS... it's not likely to happen with this director.

Plava Šeherzada is (for me) the weakest Karleuša's song in last two years. And there is no chance for JK until Tijanić is on RTS.
If we wont some mix of folk and electro pop maybe Ana Kokić is good choice. But I hope for Jelena Tomašević, even though she is pregnant.

Our singer Ljubiša Stojanović Louis died this morning in car crash!
Louis was jazz singer who very successfully combined serbian soul and jazz music. With Flamingosi he won Beovizija 2006. ("Crazy summer dance").
RIP legend and thank you for everything you've done. And thank you on thousands beautiful songs!!!

I would love to see Zeljko Joksimovic for Serbia and taking 2nd victory for Serbia

That's right, we didn't give any points to their 2007 winning entry.
Unlikely. I checked the voting history and we have given points to Serbia only two times.

Oops, got my years mixed up. It was in 2010 for Ovo je Balkan instead of 2009.^You have given a point to Cipela? Sure? As far as I know it went to Latvia.

^To me, he's one of Serbian singers that doesn't have any personality (nit' smrdi nit' mirise), just like Dzenan and Adil. They have some nice songs for Danube floating clubs on water and drunk teenagers during prom nights...but personality as singers...it's non existing
