People really put too much thought into the draw. The juries won't be influenced by it and even the televoters only to a certain degree. In 2009 the last two songs to perform (Finland & Spain) were actually the bottom 2 of the night. So don't worry too much guys.

I've been predicting Russia to win, but can they do it from #6? When was the last time a song drawn that early on won (if ever)?

Soo.... Russia #6, Iceland #7, Cyprus #8, France #9, Italy #10. interesting...my favourites are lining up. don't know it's a good / bad sign and I hope Sweden doesn't draw #5 or #11 ..

Cyprus #8.... Not the best draw, but not the worse either. At least it's not among the first 5!

Yaiy I predicted right 9 from 10 squalified songs. As you can see Switzerland is last in line because I was not sure between Hungary and Switzerland so at the end I puted Switzerland. I could ended predicting right all 10 songs

From what I've seen so far most of us (including Mozz) have predicted 9 out of 10 correctly with Hungary being the most widely named surprise...

I would question this. The juries are human too. They get their early favorites and are comparing the following entries in the exact same way as televoters. Of course there is a difference. Maybe teleoters have a party and doesn't even watch the show in the beginning, or maybe they do watch the beginning and then get too drunk to stay til the end.

It's not obvious how people get affected by the order, but we do know that late numbers have proven advantageous. But anyway I think the jury could get affected by this in some way too, and that is my point.

Overall I'm quite happy with the results. Goodness it was tense for Ireland though!

Not happy with Latvia and Finland not making it....but on the other hand I'm pleased to see Albania and Hungary get through. (and of course Iceland and Denmark, but I wasn't really worried about them)

So 4, 5, 11, 12, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24 and 25 left for those in the second semi.

Woooow it's a good draw for the semi 2 (exept 4 and 5)

Albania's draw is number 3, that's really bad i think (after UK & Hungary )

I'd have to agree with somebody earlier in the thread.

Personally I thought Greece had a worse performance than Cyprus.

I don't understand the fuss over Switzerland, it was really average.

When the Greek flag came out of the envelope, I lost the will to live.

When the last qualifier was about to be revealed, I had mixed feelings. I wanted Jedward to fail, but on patriotism wouldnt allow me to do that

It might be the actual results with Romania 1st ,,, and Ireland 10th. oh whatever still for swimm againzt the streamm
