My God. The San Marino selection was at the level of the sausage festival. Worse than last year.

Audio problems, the presenter who reveals the winners ahead of time, a depressed public, presenters who don't speak English or Spanish, artists who don't come on stage for the awards ceremony, instruments that are lost...

Quite clear that after 2 Italian winners in the last editions this year they would have awarded a foreigner. Bertè couldn't go to Malmö. It was a risk for her. His name only served to give importance to the event (as did Jalisse and Marcella Bella, DJ Jad).

La Rua's third place is equally banal. If I'm not mistaken they are friends of Durdust. San Marino is an internal selection passed off as a singing competition.

The winner song is ok. It can be in Malmö with good staging and better sound a Q but also an NQ.

Rating 0 at the event. Rating 7 for Megara.

Haven't really been following San Marino this year, but... huh. From what I had seen, I wasn't expecting this to win, given the general expectation that Loredana had the win on lock!

Not quite sure what to think here. I like the style of song, I like their aesthetic, there's staging potential, but the song itself just feels very mid. Which is a bit of a shame, because I adored Megara in Benidorm last year; that song would've been an easy 10 for me, perhaps a 12. Instead, I think I'm giving a :5: for now - which from memory is still an improvement over what I've given San Marino in the past two years, but it just feels disappointing given how much I loved Arcadia.

One positive, though: I do really like the instrumental bridge section. That part feels like a top-tier entry for me. Can you just... keep that bit and heavily revamp the rest of the song to match it, please?

As far as the NF lineup goes... Yeah, I can't really complain about them picking Megara. Dana's song was... memorable, though I don't know whether I liked it or just had it stuck in my head because of how corny it is. And Loredana, funnily enough, would've gotten pretty much the exact same reaction from me as Megara, since her 2019 Sanremo attempt (Cosa ti aspetti da me) would've been an easy 10/12 from me and probably my tied #1 of the year alongside Hatari/KEiiNO, while Pazza would've barely scraped a 5 from me in the poll. Couldn't at least one of you have come to San Marino with something that matched your actually good entries, please

TL;DR: Mixed feelings. Not great. Not terrible. There's room for me to end up liking it if it gets a revamp and good staging. Fingers crossed.

Now, onto the song...
I like "11:11" more than "Arcadia", which might sound controversial. I just feel it's more arena-ready and has that clear 00s, P!nk-esque vibe to it. Perhaps there's also some traditional Spanish music element in the bridge and I love that little touch.

And also, Megara KNOWS how to put on a show! If the producers are witty enough to put them closing the semi (and with enough hype from our bubble), I'd like to see them through to the final.

At least it troubles my ears less than what was sent last year but it's still a racket. San Marino just doesn't want my heart anymore which makes me feel sad. This year of Eurovision will continue its downward slide for me. I don't know what's left to look forward to.

after all this quality (around 15! songs) kick outs in the semis we got at the end a real solid metal act!
that's very fine and wisely too - for the moment it is a clear :8: - thank you :sm:.

This is so disappointing that they couldn't go with Arcadia but instead they show themselves as a band to the world with this. I can't even distinguish the melody here. While Arcadia would have been a :12: and go into my Top 3 last year, this one is a :2:, only to reward the effort they've made to create the song. But it's most likely one of the biggest downgrades i've ever witnessed in Eurovision from one year to another.

Megara will do a hell of a show in Eurovision. I am so happy for them!
I wish you are right but who will pay for this? Last year all costumes at Benidorm Fest were done by Kenzy's aunt. They made a road trip to reach San Marino. How the hell are they going to afford pyro?

San Marino sponsorships... and Casperaki, perhaps.

Ehhhhhh, it's an okay song? Just like Scarlet in Mello my main issue is their styling, looks really cheap and dated.
