This is a bit of a joke at this stage, really. Valentina is clearly capable of qualifying for the final, it's obvious what/who's holding her back. It's not fair for San Marino.

It's not that this forum hates Ralph Siegel. It's just some people who hate him SO MUCH that it looks like all of us hate him

Well i can understand both hate and Siegel himself.
People believe that he has done this too many times (20),and that he should let space for younger people + his music now seems a little bit dated.
In the other hand,Siegel loves Eurovision,so he is still trying.

I don't hate him (afterall he's responsible for one of my all time ESC entries "Ein bisschen frieden"), however he totally lost his mojo and now he comes across as cliché and out-of-touch.

I don't hate him, I just think that he should compose his songs in a more modern production. His music taste is still stuck in the 80s. I'm sure he has a great personality, though

Considering he is a mentor and helping a struggling singer from a micro-state to have some sort of career, I guess he actually has a pretty nice personality. Unfortunately his music is, as you point out, stuck!

Exactly. But I think I also read somewhere, and can't remember where, that he finances his songs on his own. But as I said, I don't know if this is true.

Does anyone know what the 3 songs Valentina and Ralph are deciding between, are they all jazz or different genres :?

All I know is that they are going to announce it on March 14th and their deciding between the 3

Last year I believe it was debut with a video I wonder if they will do the same this year or is Valentina performing?
