I am rumoured to be eternal like a my dear friend Valentina Monetta. I look forward to giving my fair, unbiased opinions once more in the Expert Panel next year. So we all know that Valentina attended the Stockholm pride in Sweden a few weeks ago and here is the interview from then. She also talked a little about next year so... Here it is! Enjoy! :)

Ah ah, but really... If Italians or Balkan people speak english, I understand every word... maybe the way Balkan people pronounce english words is similar to the way Italians pronounce them! :D And/or maybe both we and you speak english in a slower way.
Instead, when english people speak english, I catch just few phrases and while I translate them in my mind (in order to trying to understand at least something xrofl2), they continue to talk, so I understand (nearly) nothing... :mrgreen:

PS: Ok, Valentina is from San Marino, but she speaks Italian language, so it's the same thing. XD

Yes, maybe we really speak "slower English" :D It's the same with me, right now I'm on vacation and a few days ago I've met two English guys. Now, I speak English since I was 5, but they were talking so fast and they spoke in some kind of dialect, so I understood only 60% of what they were saying. I have no problem with reading the English posts or watching English TV programes, so this really surprised me.

My biggest hope for San Marino in 2015 is they stop sending Valentina and make an NF, idol style, turning one of their normal citizen into an artist and the perform on the ESC

well with their track record i doubt they will ever do a national final, most probably not cost effective. I'm sure if they don't qualify this year they might just give it up as a bad job.

They dfinitely don't have enough money for that, neither enough people either.

Maybe they don't have enough money, but more than 20.000 people lived in that country, and probably only 10 of them chosen for the NF, i think it's enough
