Exactly.. a better, more refined song where she can really show everyone what her passion is musically and she can sail through. 11th was very good this year considering that she had no neighbour votes, an early draw and what could be considered an old fashioned song. She should have been in the final with "Crisalide" but I can see why she didn't make it. Next year should be her year.

Let's hope so. I really want a jazzy song from her. I'd have ear orgasms while watching ESC next May

Everyone talking about Valentina having to do a great song, but maybe doing is a song is distracting. I think next ESC Valentina should just stand on stage in silence and do nothing, so we have 3 full minutes to bask in her radiance and magnificence. After the viewers have done that, they will surely vote in their droves.

I remember reading somewhere that Secret Garden wanted to present their song as just an instrumental piece but they weren't allowed. Maybe a single line of "Oh oh uh oh oh" or perhaps just a simple "I like" followed then by nearly 3 minutes of silence?

I'm imagining her standing on the middle of the stage for 3 minutes in complete silence, eyes closed, not even an instrumental. And the cameras going around her dramatically like they do on normal presentations. And in the middle of the "performance" she let's out an "oh oh uh oh oh" only to get back to silence for more 1.5 minutes. Hilarious

Valentina will sing at Stockholm Pride Schlager-evening tomorrow (in case you're in Stockholm).

There will also be Zlata Ognevich, Emmelie de Forest, Margaret Berger from ESC '13 & Gina G. from ESC '96 amongst others

Oh, how I wish to be there... She looks so gorgeous on all photos and I'm going to like all of them on Facebook (uh, oh, oh)

You know, I had a really good plan for next year. I was about to save some money and go to ESC, just to meet Valentina. I really, really love her and Crisalide helped me go through many bad things in the past 4 months and I will forever be grateful for that. But a month ago I got a good oportunity to get rid of my glasses an contact lenses forever, so I grabbed it with both my hands and spended all my money on lasik eye surgery. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy I can se crystal clear, but I know that there is no chance I could save all that money until May. Now I'm just hoping I will go to San Marino one day and meet her, cuz I don't think she'll want to represent San Marino again in 2015.

I really don't know, why I wrote all of this here, but now that I did, I feel much better.

How is that a reason to hate someone? As a person she's seems the most lovely girl imaginable. She's been nothing but humble and extremely grateful for the opportunities she has been given.

She didn't plan to do the contest again next year but who would turn down such an amazing opportunity? She's been so appreciative of the love and support she's received from fans of the contest. It's actually extremely touching to see her reaction to some of the moments she experienced this year. She's hardly sick. I understand people disliking her music as art is subjective but how could anyone hate Valentina?

I really hope she can win you around next year but I won't hold my breath. I've never enjoyed rooting for someone as much as I have Valentina. She's the underdog and i've loved watching her blossom.. she still hasn't truly flowered yet though. Thats to come...

I'd happily have her more than 3 times. It's not like San Marino has much else to offer, and she is a great personality to have around the contest. She is also very talented.

It's not like San Marino achieved their best placing with her... Anyway, she's talented and she represents her own country, which happens to be a microstate : they don't have so many options out there. What's the problem with them wishing to qualify for the first time ever with their most successul artist ever in the contest?

You know, I really don't understand people, who hate an Eurovision artist for no reason and I think that the only ones, who are gonna ruin the festival, are in fact the "fans" like you.

I have no problem with Valentina, I would even like to see her representing San Marino EVERY YEAR from now on! She seems to be very nice woman, who is grateful for every single Eurovision chance she got. And, to be honest, San Marino isn't a very big country, so they offer us and the Europe the best they have.

So Jedward, Lena, Željko and other returning artists weren't paranoic for representing their own country again? Double standards here, maybe?

BTW, you won't get rid of Valentina Monetta. She's immortal!
