i am really happy today. why? beacuse a few hours ago valentina accepted my friend request on facebook!

and yes, i know i'm pretty late (like one year ) but still. i was slowly losing hope, so this is a really pleasant surprise

I think Mrm will be more upset with Ralph Siegel again more than anything To be honest, I hope Ralph takes a back seat once the song is composed and Valentina then does what she feels with the song. Call in some jazz professionals and get a really authentic arrangement that Valentina feels truly comfortable with. I love "Crisalide" with all my heart but we need a much less twinkly production on next years song. I'd love for Valentina to sing something that's really raw. I crave something dark and melancholy as her voice is so expressive and has such an a sense of longing but Valentina seems to always sing quite upbeat jazz and that certainly suits her.

I still can't believe this is happening. I hope no one wakes me from this dream.

I'd rather they say that the new song will be inspired by the 40's.... JAZZ JAZZ JAZZ JAZZ JAZZ!!!

I can't imagine what a fusion of 60's and 80's styles will sound like but i'm interested. Has the song really been decided this early though? They have nearly a whole year ahead of them to think very carefully about what they are going to do. When people think of 1980's we generally think of the invasion of synths and cheesy power ballads. I want jazz. I'd be so upset if that three years in a row Valentina won't be able to show the real her1
