I'm sorry, but am I the only one to think that this makes San Marino and Valentina look very desperate? I mean, it's not that I dislike Valentina nor want to see her again on ESC, but one has to be able to see how flawless they were and how they were not accepted. If she didn't make it to the finals with this year's song (we are not even talking about winning, but just reach the final!), I think Valentina will only beat the record of the person who has tried more times without reaching the final.

I really, really hope her to bring us another great song and performance, but unfortunately I'm already feeling pity for her. I want to be surprised, but I can't imagine her going to the final after what happened this year...

Valentina, I belive is the only one who can perform Ralf Sigels songs so well ........ and they should consider to name San Marino in her honor San Valentina...

Well last year they were holding off the announcement by teasing teasing and more teasing now they decided to try the opposite. I wonder how they will announce Valentina for 2015

I know San Marino is micro-size and has pretty much no industry or money (so I forgive them for sending the same artists) but surely they can find a much better writer than Ralph Siegal . I know he probably charges them next to nothing but there has to be cheap Italian writers out there they could use? You would probably get a cheap San Remo reject but surely that would be an improvement over any dated Eurovision song Siegal would give them right?

Yeah I wish they'd ditch Siegel, he tries too hard to be modern and it doesn't work at all.

I really really hope she finally qualifies this year, if nothing else so that she gives someone else a go in 2015.

My understanding was that Siegel is more than cheap. He funds his entry himself. SMRTV end up spending very little on Eurovision.

Behold for I have returned.. I had this unusual feeling as I was lying in my coffin. I punched through it to discover crowds of people screaming with excitement at the news that Valentina was to be returning to Eurovision in 2014, just as my crystal ball predicted. This is a very special day for me. I am speechless. I actually did a large bum bounce upon my bed in celebration.

Next year is the year of Valentina. I have no problems with Ralph composing the song again but please to god, do NOT allow him to work on the production of it. Let him write the song along with Valentina but then let Valentina explore it with her band. Jazz (possibly of the melancholy kind) is what we want and I want it to be as organic and as authentic as possible, not the cheesy synth jazz like the versions of Crisalide featured on her album. This could be incredibly special. Valentina is very capable of having a "Suus" moment. Experimental Jazz could be a really good move. Valentina needs to feel free with the music.

I'm so excited now for next year! I can't bare the wait

The Eurovision gods have been good to me these past few years.. blessing me with my favourite song ever "Suus", helping me discover Kaliopi and then bestowing upon us the icon that is Valentina Monetta, three years in a row! When will this surreal dream end?

Hello my fans, hello ESCUNITED!

Excitement has hit the streets of the village of San Marino. Everyone is a jumping up and down. Tears of joy we cry. I'm very appy. I cannot wait for a next year where rumour has it that I will be a judging member of the expert panel once again. I can no wait to hear Valentina's new song and give my unbiased opinion and points.
