Sergej will just fall from the steps or make another mistake, mess up his performance and fail to qualify or win. Half of the forum happy. ;)

Are you really surprised that people are making fun of you though? Some of the things you're saying may not be all that wrong BUT at the same time you are actually doing all the things you accuse others of yourself. (e.g. you're making fun of people with different opinions and you're being xenophobic towards Western Europeans by saying we're all hateful and stuff like that) That's just laughable - You should really mind your own business :geek:
There is a quite fitting German saying:
"Wer im Glashaus sitzt, soll nicht mit Steinen werfen"

Just WOW! I am speechless. You call someone xenophobic, after inspiring and liking the comment: “ Russia is disgrace for civilization” (for the record, the most xenophobic comment ever showed up here).
I have no problem with you being xenophobic, it’s your choice, but then - spot preaching, have some honor, for God's sake!

Well Måns didn't have the best song last year and his voice wasn't that spectatular, but he won with the best package and of course he won because of a fantastic performance. Russia will be like the second Måns I believe :) like the staging to Russia this year, actually I've liked Russia from 2012-2016 so keep it up Russia :D

I've just seen the second rehearsal. WOW! If Jamala can't win, I hope Sergey does.

One word: jury. Italy won the televoting last year. And to me, winning televoting equals winning Eurovision.

Especially after leaked jury voting in periscope it's no secret anymore that they should be eliminated from the contest in general.

In the end, I can say that is my #1 this year :D The song is just one complete package. It sticks out, it is powerful and it has capacity for a great stage performance. This is certainly not the most original song or anything.....but, in this competition, it still is the song that deserves to win the most imo.

Yes, every year there is some drama with the juries and after actually getting some evidence on how they really work, I think it's time for them to go. There is a reason why they left in first place.

Televoting doesn't have any credibility in Eurovision whatsoever though, especially since we know that it's basically diaspora + fans.

Yeah, because juries obviously vote just for music compositions and never voted for countries. Oh, wait, that exactly what happened last year.

Too many shitty songs would have qualified in the last years if we consider only the televoting rankings, such as Montenegro 2013, Latvia 2014 or Finland 2015. At least the juries keep it real for the most part, while the televoting mostly is a lot of trolls who vote only for the most gimmicky craps, in the most usual of the ESC-tradition. Not to mention that in the televoting-only years we had awful winners such as "Everybody", "Hard rock hallelujah" and "Believe". Those by far were the years when ESC was at its lowest of its musical credibility.

It's a party after all. Of course people will vote for the happiest songs. Now we have a bunch of ballads and 3D-mapping stagings of songs that pretend to be musical masterpieces but in the same time they are not entertaining anymore.

TBH - maybe that's why I like "You are the only one" - it's cheesy and the lyrics are stupid but in the same time it's entertaining and funny. And the most important thing - it gives me a good mood. A party mood.

Also the songs are 90% in English now. Eurovision lost it's "language" flavor and I blame the juries for that because they cripple non-English songs. Finland 2010, Poland 2011, Bulgaria 2012 and 2013 are just few of the examples.
