I've already mentioned both Vintazh and Yin-Yan on my potential wishlist for Russia this year, so they have been discussed

Good choice! Vintazh's music is really great, I really love their latest album and singles!

Yin-Yan is also a good choice, but the long-haired dude seriously needs to cut his hair short That kind of hairdo is 80's!!

I didn't notice that but thank you.. only i was give a bit of importance of thems.. i listen every day songs of therese Russian singers and i thing that it's her time to go for Eurovision, cause i know that they will be an digne Russian rep in Europe ))

Don't thing that Yin-Yan will cut his hair cause the Russian girls loves had an verry long hair as well )))

ORT will not collaborate with Meladze again so there's a bigger chance to see In'-Yan' representing my country. He's preparing something for 2012 so who knows.

Vintazh ... "Roman" was a cheap Lady Gaga ripoff (even judging from the song title). In "Eva" they sampled Гости из Будущего band, can they make it without borrowing from others? + they aren't interested.


I know that Kirkorov adviced Vera Brezhneva (lol, ORT will NOT stand another Ukrainian performer), who's #1 in the Airplay and Digital charts currently, btw ))) but she doesn't want.

Lazarev? He's not interested but he can agree if ORT asks him, but this is impossible in 2011.

imo, they have to send Nyusha or some talented newcomer.

C'mon man, i dont thing that Roman is an copycat of Lady Gaga (Mayber on the Costume) but i this song is more quiet, melodic and less quirky than Gaga )) Too bad that Vintazh aren't intresered, but who knows that if they surprised apply and register with an incredible secret song.... mayber is the reazon why the Channel One are props and in silence ) and the same goes for Sergey, who in all the Russians ESC Forum, vkontakte, Odnoklassniki are praying & hopping that if this year will be an Internal Selection (Who its the most probavly this year) most likely Sergey will be handpicked as well.. Nothing in the life are impossible, must await and see ) I hope that this year an well know Russian talent as Oksana Pochepa, Kristina Orbakaite or Julia Kova are representing Russia this time )))

Well i do that ) hehehe, but someday he will not resist the temptation and ends up competing anyway if he keeps trying to convince, as i say that nothing is imposible in the life. When is the Russian NF..?? I read in Wikipedia that is on March 1 along with the Belarussian NF..??

How about with the fommer Miss Universe 2002, Oxana Fedorova..?? She was the host of the Russian NF in 2008 and 2010 , i thing that she is an good singer & dancer (She won Danzing with the Stars in 2005)

Yulia Savicheva (Russia 2004) also can be an nice option.. she was grow up a lot since Istambul and his songs are nice and more mature them..

Iny-Yan are pretty awesome! I wouldn't mind Filipp going to ESC as a singer again at all. He's a terrific singer and quite quirky on stage.

Well I certainly don't hear it. Just because they sing "roma-roma-roma roman" and she sings "rama-rama-rama" or whatever doesn't make the songs alike, those parts aren't even alike.

It's like saying every song with "la la la" to it are sounding the same or "na na na".

They wanted to break up but after LG's concert in Austria they decided to continue to perform as a band. Basically "Roman" was dedicated to Lady Gaga, they don't even hide that they are inspired by her
I'm not the only one who sees such similarity not that it's bad, but when you compare both .... Vintazh is just meh. I like Mikky, but not other "inspired" tracks.

Anyways, Vintazh's album latest album is great. But it's a matter of taste I guess.
