Reminds me a bit of Gromee last year. Song was my number one, but his weird dance and snake moves basically killed off the live performance. Now Ester is in my top 10 and I fear the exact same.

I wouldn't be surprised if she flops because of the erratic movements as the movements made her look very aggressive in the performance, which also could turn people off.

Well, I don't know which of these two got straight 12s from the juries and than got confirmed by >2 million votes from the public. I mean, it's not impossible to happen and if Romania scores higher that Sweden, I'll have to admit I was wrong... But then again, I wasn't the one responsible for picking Ester over Laura and Bella. And I am willing to bet that those guys won't admit their mistakes if / when they come to light.
1. Thou shalt not accept being a juror and an "independent" influencer at the same time.
2. Thou shalt not accept being a juror in such a ridiculous system where the public vote doesn't matter even though people spend money for voting.
Shame. Shame. Shame.

Well I don't really care about that, what I mean is that Ester what the right choice anyways. Bella and Laura were awful, I never understood the hype about them. One couldn't sing, and the other had a cheesy-boring song.Yes, I still boycott Wiwibloggs, if that's what you are talking about

Only a handful of music professionals do (ermmm, that is 2 bloggers and one head of delagation)
It's true that rules were put fair and square from the first moment, and we should move on, but still I reject to accept that Ester was better than Bella or Laura.
And we should all be unbiased and consider Ester independent from her NF.

I don't have anything against Ester, it is not my top 10 song, but it is not a bottom 10 song either - I just don't think it is very realistic that Romania will do better than Sweden.
My issue is with the Wiwibloggs guys only, and I have already quite explained that one. There are standards to abide by, which they didn't.

I understand but no one says that the selection of the entry in every country is a democratic process. Every country do whatever they want and in Romania's case they knew before the rules of the national final which gives too much power to juries. My opinion is that this voting system is bad but still doesn't change the fact that Ester won fairly so i think that people need to get over it. And since there is too much drama in some national finals and people get dissapointed and agry i think that sometimes its better to do internal selection.
I actually believe too that wiwibloggs guys gave less votes to Laura because of the reasons we know but still who decided to have them as juries?
Why do the wiwi people get more hate than Emmelie? At least the wiwi guys still gave Laura points and they weren't the only ones to give high points to Ester. But Emmelie single-handedly stopped Bella from winning and was blatantly trying to make her favorite win by ranking the other favorite last. That was way shadier.

Emmelie isn't, in addition to her NF judge position, probably the most influential blogger around Eurovision, who conducts daily reviews and interviews with the participants. Of course I have a problem with everyone who accepts being part of such a stupid system, but at least she wasn't in a direct conflict of interests. You can't be an impartial reviewer anymore once you have had a 2/7 say in deciding someone's representative.
Not that I agree with Emmelie, but Bellas Song was more or less a (good) Fuego-Copy, the Performance a Ruslana-Copy and she was totally out of Breathe the most Time. She didnt win the Jury nor the Televoting, so there is no Reason to complain. But what William and Deban did was really disgusting.

I thought we had passed all this drama by now. I agree William & Deban lost all credibility (not that they had much before) but sheesh get over it and move on. Ester won and her song isn't even bad.

Bella wasnt sabotaged, since Emmelie didnt like her before and since Bella didnt won any Voting.
But Laura was actual sabotaged.
And Yes, Esters Song is bad. Last Place with 0 Points at OGAE and down from #3 to #33 in the Winner Odds and #13 in the Qualify-Odds and Bottom Third in almost all Youtube-Tops speaks a clear Language. That wouldnt have happened with Laura.
