Yes, she even use Romanian language in some of her songs. Acording to wikipedia "Platnum was born in Timişoara, Romania in 1980. At the age of eight her family relocated to West Berlin where she went to school in Berlin-Lichterfelde." But she kept the contact with Romania in all these years. The lyrics in Give Me The Food: "I am Romanian, I like to eat" ;;

Nah. Let's keep it in romanian. I feel like it would be too bland in english.
Brighi's song will work better in English. I can see her representing Romania.

TVR goes radio silent until February-March. (with probably the only exception: 2011, when the NF was on December 31).

I hope Romania will not disappoint me and send something really good. I really want a Romance country to win this year as the last one was Italy in 1990. Romania is one of major candidates as I believe Romanian music is one of the best in Europe.

They can easily do it imo, but if the selection process is as weak as last year, that'll be hard !

The rules are finally out! From 18th January until 7th February - submission open, 8th-10th February - a jury selects songs, 11th February - announcement of 12 songs.
New thing is that there will be 2 shows. 4th March - SF, 6th March - final. From the SF 6 songs will qualify - the televote will choose 2 songs, jury 4 songs. For the first time ever in Romania's Selectia Nationala, in the final, the winner will be decided 100% by televote.
Iuliana Marciuc will be the producer for the second year in a row and also the HOD.
