German Jury and televoting? I wasn't too fond of the Jury voting - it was too predictable to have France, Switzewrland and Malta above. I also don't understand why Cyprus was so high (4th place). There were so many other acts that deserved the place. Televoting was a bit better though I would have voted differently. ;)

FRANCE was also wonderful..
Russia as well..
Im even satisfied with Sweden, he was my no2 in the final and since I expected lower points I was all right..


Not to mention Ukraine, my no1.. xlove xherat
Id like if jury put wonderful Ukraine a bit higher than 9th place.. xangry you see that tv put it 2nd.. xup

What about Germany? :lol: I know you like that song..

@PollyWantsACracker I'm really wondering if these ad really have an impact or if they are just throwing money through windows! I don't think that I would vote for a song because of an advert if I'm not a fan of the song... 😂

I remember LOL-ing upon realising that she has evaluated all entries in the SF2 with their Q chances but completely forgot about the existence of :pt:. They qualified and did not do too shabby in the GF either.

So as Italian thread is closed...

Zitti e buoni GF ESC trending #1 in CRO.

However, Maneskin has another song trending in CRO!

I wanna be your slave from Wiwis channel was trending 16th place on Monday, and on Wednesday is trending at 8th place.


So Maneskin has now officially entered our market with other songs, apart from the ESC winner.

Also Croatian media have extensive coverage on the band.

Today our top most read daily journal had published a link on Torna a casa with Croatian translation so we can expect Torna a casa to be trending here very soon as well.

ALSO TO ALL ESC FANS (AND MY ITALIAN FRIENDS) A FUNNY TRIVIA ON CROATIAN REPORTER WHO WAS IN GRAND FINAL LIVE TO AWARD THE JURY VOTES TO ITALY

At the moment we saw that Dorijan, who is (unlike previous corr's who would go live in GF) a journalist of HRT in dislocated office in Rijeka (Fiume), was live in the GF, we knew that our jury gave 12 to Italy.

HRT had chosen a correspondent from Rijeka because:

1. Rijeka (Fiume) is in Croatian music industry referred as "The capital of Rock music"

2. Is the capital of the region Istria where Italian language is the second official language of the RoC, equal to Croatian. Thus Dorijan made an announcement with I dodici punti. ❤🇭🇷🇮🇹

I hadn't seen this performance before and seeing it I'm 90 % sure Italy would've won 2020 and would've had two wins in a row now

Do you think Maneskin will come back for every Eurovision from here on now? Performing Fuego in 2023, Heroes on a rooftop in 2027, etc.?

Where can I find the full televoting ranking in the GF of :pl:? I can't find it on the official website.

How come there are no articles on Wikipedia about the members of Måneskin? It's needed. After all, they had sold more than one million copies even before ESC.

Ok, I found it! I had to scroll fully to the right on my smartphone to find it, as it tyrns out :uk: was 26th in our televoting and apparently almost everywhere below 20th place, ouch. And :nl: 25th - I also expected that.

It was also surprising to see :rs: being very far in our televote, only 20th - as their song was in a Slavic language, catchy and I got an impression that they have some dedicated fans in :pl:, or at least within ESC related bubble. But I guess it was also messy in a tacky way.

That's exactly the performance that made me think it should have won last year. It's by far the best Italian song since they returned and on another level to the overhyped one this year. The most overhyped one last year was the Icelandic song. Normally the most overhyped and the winner is the same song.

Ukraine was also in my top! Such a wonderful entry! xheart xheat I also was mad about the Juries placing this so low! The televoters knew better! xlove Germany? I really liked Jendrik cause he was original and outstanding, I think. I never thought that he would get 0 pts from the televoters. I was like *Whaaaat* (imagine Jendrik's voice :ROFLMAO:). But That's ESC! I doubt next year will be better ... But it was a fantastic ESC!!! xheat

Well, I had Italy as my No 1 two years in a row now. Diodato and Maneskin - true artists! xheart
