This is a 7 pointer for me. I like the effort, it's not exactly the type of music i would listen to though.

I can see this doing well though, it's certainly memorable and interesting enough.

Obviously not the type of song I enjoy and listen to everyday, but I can see the quality and why people like it :)

I do believe that this may stand out, similar in a way The Common Linnets did, or Tom Dice at least. It will appeal with its simplicity to all those who despise the typical dramavision entries. There's no need for a staging here. Just him and his song. A Top 10 is possible.

It's very difficult to say..sometimes I think it can do Raphale Gualazzi, then I think it's to much..it will do "Kedvesem"...but maybe the most realistic is to do Patricia Kaas..still it's better to wait and see.. :)

From all of these mentions, I can only see ByeAlex fitting to Salvador in any way. But yeah, we have no guarantee and will see what's happening in May. Nonetheless we have another fabulous entry in Eurovision history.

Great choice Portugal. Clearly the best song won. I really like this!
BUT I find it more pleasent to just listen to Salvador - and not seeing him on stage.... He looks a bit awkward.... and some of his movements are a bit... hmm.... dont actually know what to call them.
But anyway; a beautiful song!

This is a gorgeous, dreamy ballad and it really stands out from the OTT shrieking of some of the other ones.
Salvador's voice and song are a perfect match.
I love it.

THE GOOD:
-This is a pretty song.
-I also like how minimal it is.

THE BAD:
-I can't really connect with it due to the language barrier.
-The song is not really my cup of tea, to be honest.

THE VERDICT:
This is a really good song, and it's in the Fado tradition, I think (hope, really). While I say it's not my cup of tea, I appreciate the song being in the ESC. The fact that it was done by his sister is really sweet, too. It'll be in the Final, but I doubt it'll win. 8 points

Oh no, this doesn't have to do anything with fado! :)

Belongs to the 50s! It's so unpleasant to watch him and this song is so dire and forgettable. Has no chance for the final. xshrug Another Sunday with bunch of rubbish songs.

A little dated, but classy. I like ballads that don't go bombastic, and instead pick a more subtle, intimate tone. It's different, and that could play very well for Portugal this year.

8/12.

It has been a long night and I should really go to bed, but I just can't, the fact that it won just gave me adrenaline or something. So so happy for this song, can't wait to see it against us in the first semi (which is turning out to get much stronger than semi 2 in my opinion...)

For some reason Semi-Final 1 seems to end up much stronger than Semi-Final 2 every year
