I really don't get the hate. If you prefer another song, fine by me... but seriously this is only a yearly occasion, its one of the few things where Europe (plus a few other bits and pieces of the world) come together: but still people find ways to hate and discredit and be bitchy about a specific country or song. It's just so stupid.

Anyway. I don't feel nervous at all. I thought I'd be dying by now... but i'm ok. let's see in a couple of hours :D

Hey Portugal, guess what? Most of my votes will go to you tonight so you better win this. I will save a few votes for the Netherlands but my fingers are crossed for you :D

What happened to Love Love Peace Peace?
Petra and Måns, we need you!

I agree its awful seeing all the unnecessary hate :bg:,:it: and :pt: are getting I mean I want :pt: to win but you don't see me writing that :bg: and :it: are going to be undeserved/overrated winners on their own threads.

You haven't been following his story, regarding health issues and so on ?

If he wins, pity will have zero to do with it. Casual Eurovision viewers won't care about his story, if it's even mentioned.

we all care about our country or favourite act doing well, but it's just a song. I don't totally see why we can't politely say something doesn't deserve to be a winner if we're being rational on judging the song. It's typical that even though Russia aren't competing we end up finding ourselves talking about them

The German commentator mentioned his health problems in the semi. This might really influence some people.

You don't like the truth. The singer is exploiting the pity factor. It's true.

He literally tried his hardest to make sure the story didn't come out and interviewers are very reluctant to talk to him about his health issues because of that. There has been very little coverage about his health issues given how serious they actually are.

Idiot.

They'll have as much sympathy for his health problems as they will have empathy for kristian's kostov's 17th birthday wish.
