It would be the most ingenious win I can remember. And one of the most purely musical, too. Go Portugal!

I've just known that tomorrow IS the century of the apparition of Our Lady of Fátima... O.M.G. that's a sign, and I'm not kidding xDD

Seriously, I really want Portugal to win tomorrow. You have my vote :)

Salvador has all the blessings he needs:

- First in the odds exactly at the same time Pope landed in portugal
- Tomorrow is the 100 years celebration of Fatima
- Jesus will vote for this song

Hallelujah raise the Portugese flags pls xqueenbitch

It will be one fierce battle between Portugal and Bulgaria in the jury vote I reckon

possibly, I think you can draw battles everywhere even between anja and lucie, but as we know it's about the song and portugal's song is much better than bulgaria's

OMG
WHAT THE HELL
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT
I CAN'T BREATHE

LISBON 2018 IS GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!!

Seriously, it's best to try and keep expectation down. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. I still favour Bulgaria to win, but Portugal becoming favourites is good news.

look at the flag lmao
I feel like this could be the next Grande Amore, and it's not the song i'd want it to win, but Portugal winning would make me really happy, just because of the underdog status of the country in Eurovision, also a song winning in native language? Yes!

Calm down, people. The final hasn't happened yet. Everything can happen. Stay positive but not overly confident.

Italy is still a great entry, winner material from the get go, nothing has changed but the momentum.
Bulgaria is there as well (though in my eyes, only Italy and Portugal deserve the trophy).

That's how i like to look at things.

First in the odds! I have always wanted Italy to win and they still might, but if Portugal wins I will be just as happy! An amazing song that will hopefully promote native language use in the future.

We're #1 in the odds, but odds are just odds, let's not forget that! What matters is the voting that is decided tonight and tomorrow, so let's remain cautiously optimistic!

I think people are getting JUST a hair overexuberant. The assumption that the juries will give Portugal a landslide 1st is a flawed and dangerous one, and the televote isn't locked in (even though there are a few indications that Portugal is getting a lot of buzz even in regions people thought would be troublesome).

I hope Salvador does not goof around when it counts.

I know he sings from the bottom of his heart and all that stuff, but personally I don't like it at all when he departs that much from the official version. I just love this song, but I don't like too much impro. The song itself is marvellous and it appeals to a huge part of viewers. All those gestures would scare some average "traditional" viewers away; on the other hand, opting not to gesticulate/play up and down with the pitch won't take any votes away. His voice and his looks, together with the melody and the lyrics, are more than enough to conquer us all.

I really hope that we can celebrate Salvador's victory tomorrow. Italy or Bulgaria would be great winners as well, though.

It's not like we will have another chance to win in the next 50 years, let us enjoy the moment! If we flop whatever, at least we got a lot of support everywhere
