So, according to this website Crónicas de Eurofestivais | A opinião também conta!: Portugal: Festival da Canção confirmado , RTP confirmed to OGAE Portugal that we're gonna have Festival da Canção again this year to select the Portuguese song to Vienna.

I don't know if I'm happy (finally some news...) or sad (FdC usually is baaaad, bad songs over all...) about this news. We have to wait and see...

As i said few weeks ago, this woman (in my opinion) could be an AWESOME choice (with a good song obviously) to Wien. But RTP will choose their usual friends, like every single year. In any case, it's just a dream

I am afraid that for each time Catarina performs, the worse her songs get....Mea Culpa is a bleak copy to "Canta Por Mim" and next time I am afraid that it will be something really bad. But first and for all, please Portugal, it is about time you get top 10, it is getting ridiculous how unlucky you are.

Why didn't RTP choose this beauty to represent us? "Mar Salgado" is a great song, Amor Electro said they'd represent the country (if asked), so... Why not? Also the song was released before September 1st and it totally sounds like a winner song! Maybe in English it could work, if it had a great translation.
I mean, don't spend any money in a mediocre Festival da Canção and choose our real talented artists!

Why? I see nothing wrong in kids listening more than Disney songs or singers like Bieber or Selene Gómez. Actually I think it's quite positive to give them real music.

Well, they were just promoting the song and it isn't a song that children can't listen to. It doesn't contain any offensive lyrics or whatever.

Portugal has a new head of delegation, Carla Bugalho. She was the producer of FdC 2010 and 2008. Hopefully she will bring a positive change.
The composers are already working on their songs and soon we will know who they are.
