No. Doubt they'll do a NF, as it's so late already, so hopefully they'll do a good internal selection. (They might even have started to choose their entrant already)

Well, I am not too sad that there will be no NF in Portugal. The quality of the ultimate couple of Festival da Cancaos has not been very impressing...
But I am very curious about what Portugal will come up with!!

She's a better singer than I thought she was
her high notes aren't great though... still, I'd be happy to see her represent Portugal, with a better entry than Canta Por Mim (which I thought was very overrated).

"Canta Por Mim" was still better then"Há dias assim" which while not terrible wasn't all that great either. It was a real missed opportunity by Portugal to get a real good result

Portugal has always had some pretty good songs in their national finals but they always choose the wrong ones xdoh. So hopefully an internal selection will solve that problem and we will get a really good entry like "Senhora do mar"
and “Todas as ruas do amor”

Theoretically, you're quite right, I myself was thinking along the same lines. Thing is, I've only just remembered that last time we went internal we gave you 2B! (2005) How's that for an omen?
Also, I've recently watched two mysterious YT videos where both Zlata and Ruslana from Ukraine begged Portugal to pick Rui Andrade. Why or who asked them to do this I have no idea. Rui andrade happens to be one of those regulars at Festival da Canção who possesses a very good pair of lungs but few vocal chords' skills, the result being that he yells very loud but doesn't sound particularly musical. He sings poor songs too, meaning to be grand but which are just plain silly.
To make a long story short, I am duly scared s..t

Germany and France alone gave them close to half their total with 12 points each
Were the others in the semi that much worse
Wikipedia says and other forums appear to back it
Unfortunately, a faulty microphone for the female singer and overall technical mishaps resulted in a disastrous performance
So maybe we are just too hard on them xshifty

The fact is no one on Earth can sing and move that much... And that dance routine was extremely annoying... They always say the microphone... But actually some parts of the songs were OK... But there were many problems with sound in Kiev resulting in a lot of completely out of tune performances, just like... "You beeeetter run and hihihihiiiiide"3
And I saw they had 3 12 points () and 10 points from and only 5 points from ... And that's all...
That's sad, they screwed a good song... :?

As Toinou pointed out, the Portuguese are very patriotic, specially those living in large communities in Germany, France, Switzerland. I don't think they paid much attention to the other songs
Song was terrible anyway, no amount of great singing would make it good. Luciana Abreu can actually sing quite well btw, although she has no real career in music or indeed anywhere.

2B had a problem with their microphones during the performance, specially the girl. The EBU should have let them perform again at the end of the semi-final like they did with Spain in 2010, I think it was quite unfair that because of the host broadcaster's fault a country's performance became a total disgrace!
Either way the song wasn't that great, but it was surely better than 2004, 2006 and 2007
I'm hoping that RTP would do a much wiser choice than Rui Andrade if they go internal. Afterall RTP's director said in an interview that froem now on they will take Eurovision very seriously.

I'm pretty sure Spain asked for that redo in 2010 and that's why they got to perform twice. If the Portuguese asked in 2005 I'm sure the EBU would have let them
Of course the EBU probably should have offered themselves but since there were no complaints from the delegation they just let it go. Spain probably complained and asserted their right for the redo so they got it, while Portugal stayed silent and took the hit.
