RTP produces an 1986 show.
People chooses song for Eurovision 1986.
Zana is bad as hell.
Suzy has a über stupid song.
Rui Andrade has a waterfall of cheese.
Raquel Guerra has a song weaker than "Vida minha"...

Ha ha ha! Clock them! "Mea Culpa" is the only reasonable choice. "Quero Ser Tua" is OK-ish and the rest is run-of-the-mill.

GOSH what a beautiful backing vocal from Rui Andrade, if he wins that will probably be the most beautiful female singer in ESC EVER!
I only caught this recap in the end with 5 singers who are through to the final, based on that I liked Rui and Suzy the best!
But we will see...

I have to admit. Catarina had a great song in 2010. It was going to be top 10, for sure! But with "Mea Culpa"... I don't know. It's a copycat song! Everyone knows it! Yes, it is a great song, but not enough to get us a Top 5!

Possibly none of the songs would do well in ESC.
The songs were disappointing as usual.The sound was really really bad. It all sounded like a miserable karaoke club.
The backing vocals were stronger than the main vocals, the music could barely be heard, it all sounded distorted.
And I still can't get over that horrendous camerawork for Catarina. X-OI

I think Zana was the only contestant with any personality on stage Catarina seemed really stiff and rehearsed in comparison

Catarina may indeed be our best bet, but only by default.
Song is really nothing special and her voice is weak. One might say she could improve until may, but if she hasn't done it since 2010 how is she gonna do it now? Performance didn't come across as energetic and her eye contact was poor - her expression was sort of scary, too much make up, the wind machine or what? Camera work was very unprofessional, somebody should be complaining about it.
Zana was a disapointment, perhaps due to very stupid staging. The song asked for movement and folky colourful costumes. Why the heck did she dress like an artificial cabbage stuck to the ground?
Rui's song was as expected. Completely irrelevant, hardly melodic ballad. Can't honestly believe anyone can take actual pleasure out of listening to it. He didn't scream as much as he used to, I'll give him that though.
Raquel's Sonhos Roubados might have been interesting, in another voice and another time, a few decades ago.
Suzy's ridicilous, of course she is. She's the perfect image of the kind of music she represents. The kind of song that plays on morning tv shows for the old, the infirm and the bedridden. They're a lot of people too, poor souls, and they are so going to vote for this. But her voice isn't even good either.
There's a strong possibility this might come to be Portugal's 2014 entry and I myself don't feel motivated enough to help avoiding it :/
