Some parts were butchered but overall, I still think it was pretty decent. - I think there was still a lot to work on but after winning the NF, I think that they would have put more effort and Zlotys into the whole act (maybe even getting an additional backing singer).

I dont agree dear @Mainshow , for me those vocals were terrible, just compare studio version and this live from the NF, and you will realize.. Just listen how she butchered second Chorus..

I'm actually with @Mainshow on this one, it wasn't good but it wasn't THAT bad either and if she'd given time to develop the performance for Eurovision, and with a better staging and production etc, I still think the outcome would have been good... those TVP studio NFs didn't have the best production value to begin with...

I am not sure when the pre-recorded backing vocal thing was introduced in MF, for sure it was already allowed in 2009 (Malena Erman's entry was butchered in Eurovision... anyways she sucks so no surprise but still )

Unfortunately, the "Swedish" way was introduced to Eurovision this year too (I really hope it's a one-off thing but I don't trust EBU when they claim that).

Well, at least with Sweden we heard all entries so we know that among those, the Swedish entry for ESC will be found... Malta, Azerbaijan remain mysteries too, sure we know the acts but nothing more really ... but yeah Poland is the one country that kept the full mystery this year (Russia too in a sense since they did a last minute NF )

They don't claim that though, I'm pretty sure they said they were already thinking about testing the use of recorded backing vocals, and the pandemic just accelerated that trial. They are almost surely gonna be keeping live backing vocals as an optional rule going forward, especially now that Osterdahl is the Executive Supervisor.
It's a shame really, the only rule I think the ESC should take from MF is expanding the number of people on stage from 6 to 8, that's all (after the pandemic though, for obvious reasons).

Yeah, the actual thing that is good with MF is 8 people (which makes more sense than 6 imho especially when backing vocals are to be live), so I really don't get why they are picking the bad aspect of MF instead of the good

Sanah has concerts in May (I don't know how they are gonna do this with the pandemic going on but ok).

What Polish accents even? They don't have many since it's been active politics to erase accents

I mean Ochmann apparently has a somewhat accent and Alicja I guess has standard Polish, maybe these two together qualify as "a lot of Polish accents"

Ok, now I see there must have been a translation error. Someone translated "akcenty" into "accents" while it should be more like "features". The video will contain a lot of Polish features.
