I actually don't know what you're talking about. The arena in Gliwice arena is bigger than Tel Aviv.

Suitable arenas (in terms of size) :
Gliwice Arena (13,000)
Atlas Arena, Łódź (13,000)
Tauron Arena, Kraków (22,000)
Spodek, Katowice (11,500)
Ergo Arena (Gdańsk, Sopot) (15,000)
Centennial Hall, Wrocław (10,000)
Toruń Arena (9,200)

These are just suitable indoor arenas being able to host events of 9,000 and more (which is suitable for Eurovision).
Even smaller venues uses for indoor football or other sport evens have a jigger capacity than 6,000.

Ok, I take everything back.

I think it´s too early in the day for my brain.

No, thank you.
I would prefer something more indie-pop-ish.. something which can be found on Polish (airplay) charts. No more bilingual cheese, pls.

Bless TVP, but Pali Się was just flat. They should come with something more this year.

Another national final is in our hands! Poland will use Szansa na Sukces

I can hear the catchy intro coming

Lol, they copy & pasted JESC rules but screwed up a little:

I assume the first live show will take place on February 2.

All the people who slammed UA:pBC for "controlling" contacts with the media should read Polish rules
They prohibit participants to contact the media without approval of organizers before the NF final basically. Though they say "during the Contest" & it's not clear if they mean only NF or ESC as well.

Translation? :)

They posted only pictures in FB as of now. I understood everything without translation cuz our languages are very similar.

"The winner of the contest takes part in ESC 2020 in Rotterdam"
"TVP informs that all personal data given on JESC needs is being processed..."
blah blah blah.

So happy for the NF, anyway :D Hoping for talented new names.

It has a very nice ratings even if it's not on prime-time - almost 2 million people per episode. It's not a big show with huge studio, but I am kinda glad that they changed the format, so we have semi-finals and songs for finalists will be prepared and selected by Universal Music Poland like for JESC 2019 and JESC 2018 (as I understand...?).

So, we need to keep our fighers crossed that the final songs will be bops, a good singer will be chosen and TVP learned something about staginig by production of JESC.

I'm not a fan of this. Szansa Na Sukces is a good format, but to use it as a selection for Eurovision is not a good idea. It worked for JESC, and generally I think, it is one of the ways to do it, however the specifics of the SNS definitely will eliminate more established artists from taking part in the selection. Like who will want to sing someone else's songs only to showcase the ESC ideas in the final? It is only for amateurs and no-names

Well, I think Eurovision is good for beginners, debuting acts (I wouldn't say amateurs), estabilished acts are afraid to go, TVP tried to bring them for sure.
Let's just see if it works, I only hope the song are ready before, I can't imagine all these people bringing their own material, with no funds, no support...

This is so good... But she's only 12, so they couldn't perform as a duo... :( And even the lyrics are good!
