The only thing I'm f***ing, is stupid
I find the vocals of the studio version muddled which flattens the song as a whole.

However. With good live performance and a clever staging, this entry can really blossom.
I can see results similar to My Słowianie/Color of Your Life in the final. It has to qualify to the more hype-based and diaspora-less semi-final, unfortunately.

I will wait to vote until May.

God this is absolutely horrific  Their vocals are so unbearably shrill, I really struggled to listen to the whole song xgaah

I can personally see here fantastic performance..

Of curse dressed in national costumes like always..

And standing on different 4 parts of the stage, singing..lights and close shots on each girl..

Can be extraordinary.. :) xlove xheart

This maybe my british ignorance showing here but when I heard about what kind of entry Poland was competing with I was excitedly expecting 'My Słowianie' part 2. Not this. Has anyone seen a live version cause I think I might like it more when I see them perform it. This is just shouty and with weird guitars for me at the moment.

I'd prefer it if it stayed in Polish only but maybe because I am Polish

I think this is one of their songs that I like slightly less too but that minor English does not destroy it for me.

I think this would be much better in complete Polish. I'm not keen on mixing English with the home language unless its necessary.

I don't know what to think of it. It is original and catchy as hell but also kinda... creepy?

Addictive though.

Er, its a bit better live but this is not qualifying.

Many great songs didn't qualify in the past … that's how it is. Generic Mainstream Songs mostly qualify and unique songs don't. That's how it is. I love it nevertheless.

Just like most on this forum, I was confused when first hearing this song. 'Do I like this or not?" was the main question bothering me. After a couple of listens I'm convinced I like this...I think . Maybe it's the hipster in me who likes the alterative, folksy sound combined with distinct haunting vocals. Their live performance definitely convinced me, it's really good! Also the English doesn't bother me that much, I actually like being able to sing one or two lines along with this song because it's so catchy. Pretty sure it will stand out enough to make it to the final. From there let's see how far the diaspora votes can take them.

Nice job :pl:!!!

I’m loving this. The song reminds me of some Indigenous songs I’ve heard in Canada. I think it’s because both use a similar open throat singing technique. Very catchy melody too.

It's good to hear it from someone from UK. ;)

I would like to post one song for all those people who like Tulia's sounds. It's called "Kołysanka Kruka" and it is sung by Południce.

This is from CANAL+ Polska TV-series "Kruk" (which is the best Polish series ever IMO; together with HBO's "Blinded by the lights" - if you can watch them somewhere, just give them a chance! )

I loved "Kołysanka Kruka" from the first listening and one day I was thinking that this kind of music could be great to represent Poland in ESC. I hope, I will not be dissapointed in May.

Speaking of "Pali się", I didn't like music video at first. I found this song nice when I was watching performance in "The Voice", that's why I think (and I HOPE) live performance will be great with nice colors on the stage, good vocals, I want WOW-effect. Go to the final, girls!

This is definitely not shouty as someone said here, because this is just the Slavic singing style. But yes, it's boring in general as a song.

It's growing on me, I still think it's too flat for the average public as it needs more listens though, but it's a risky and different entry and actually comparing to the complete line-up, is a top. 15 for me, so I hope taking a risk would at least pay off somewhat... but again I'm afraid the monotone structure of it will make Poland fail to qualify since the juries, as we know already, hate local stuff (won't get into that again but it's so against what ESC should stand for) and if it's also too flat to stand out for the general public that tend to be more open-minded then I think it will struggle. We'll se...
