All those zeros in the poll are just laughable - at least this song has a good and beautiful melody which is not the case with so many "modern" ESC songs.

It's called "different taste" xshrug

I find this whole entry tragic, I had to give it a zero... but each to their own

I agree, yet people seem to like more the modern ones, since they seem more memorable.

I think this will do decent with the jury, but it'll flop so bad with the public.

Danny McEvoy never disappoints. xup

Slay me Danny xheat

He's never going to top his cover of Nina's "Warrior" last year, but this comes extremely close.

I am hoping Michal will loose his red coat and those army trousers. I have always found it utterly stupid for male singers to wear those kind of clothes.
Keep the hair, more than enough as a "gimmick".

If that was the only stupid thing that the male singers do...

Yes, they also...are male. What are the other stupid things that male singers do that female singers do? I'm genuinely curious because this obsession you have with the genders of performers can't come out of a hat, so I'd love to know if there are pet peeves you have frequently with male singers that make you instantly turn off when a male performer starts singing.

It reminds me of myself when I was a 13 year old gaysexual child, thinking that Shakira, Christina Aguilera and Anastacia were the only singers worth listening to, and that any artist with a penis was the devil, and shouldn't open his mouth. Now as a 25 year old gaysexual, oh how times have changed. Men and women now rock equally for me.

I think for many years I'm going to be in the mindset of comparing every Polish entry to the milkmaids... dearest Michal just doesn't stand a chance. 2 points.

Could some Polish forum member explain to me what is Michal saying in this interview? I understand (more or less) the part where he rejects the analogy with Conchita (saying she has totally different facial hair :)), but what I don´t understand is the part about Edyta Górniak.

Edyta didn't remember his name in one of the interviews after NF, reporter asked "she didn't remember your name, do you have a message to Edyta?" Michał said "I feel sorry, because we took part in the same contest and I knew the names of all the contestants. I can only go to Kraków (where Edyta currently lives) with a bunch of flowers, knock to her door and say: hello, I'm Michał Szpak"

More or less :D

Well, that is how you put some persons where they deserve to be!!! She does not know his name!?!? Her ego is much higher than her IQ-coefficient!!!

I do not understand the hate for this song! Dear EuropE, he demolished Margaret and Edyita in polish NF...

POLAND, SE U IN THE FINAL!!! :)

No wonder that nobody knows Szpak's name, after all he is an irrelevant nobody in the context of the European musical scene!

In contrast to pre-ESC European megastars Lena and Emmelie de Forest? Not saying he'll win - just that dismissing him solely on the basis of him being an irrelevant nobody is awfully repugnant.

Since when is Eurovision a reflection of the Europe music scene?
Apart of some exceptions the stars don't care for this event. Eurovision has its own icons and stars, which makes it great and fascinating and it can be a stepping stone for young artists. However it is pretty irrelevant for the big music scene

Der and precious haters - thank you. Now I know I am supperior than you. There are few songs from this year I absolutely hate and they are fan favourites. What do I do? Do I write shit about them in the proper threads? No, I don't. I do not waste time on writng about something I purely hate. Get a life.
