Her own songs are weak, I quite liked only Riotka from her recent singles. I think it's not live singing in the video you posted, sounds good though.

It's extremely revisionist to say that the televote not coming through was why Poland did badly in 2014. They had a similar result then and this year with the main difference being that the jury kill wasn't as effective because a high televote score wasn't counted in 2014.

The funniest thing is, if they didn't change the rules we'd finish 19th while Australia would've won even though in public voting we were 3rd and australia was 4th.

You are right there - I am really bitter that a safe entry like this performed better at the end than the traditional entry from 2014 (it had all the ingredients to do well + it went down well at the arena). Along with that memorable performance

Was my winner. His performance was great in the final. Can't believe the huge difference from the jury and (the majority) of the public. He also wore is red jacket pretty darn well

I'm extremely proud of Michal and team He has won the hearts of millions across the Europe, and I think that is what really counts. Of course, I don't really understand why he was so underrated by juries (maybe his not the best final rehearsal is the reason), but I'm still happy with the 8th! 3rd best result for Poland in ESC!
With such a success, I hope that for the next year, we will be able to see well known acts once again in our NF (if NF is going to take place).

This is such a gem honestly. Like yeah, it's not very contemporary and I get the old-fashionedness turned some people off. But the melody is one of the most beautiful things I've heard... Especially in the verses, if you ignore the dreary beat (or in the first 30 seconds and in the bridge). His brilliant voice absolutely makes up for it though. And the lyrics are incredibly beautiful too and just SO real. I can totally understand why this came so high in the televote. It just stirs a powerful emotion and I think reaches a lot of people. The composition instrumentally honestly could've been better but aside from that I've come to love this one so much when I concentrate on the lyrics and melody. So deserved placing.
