Osinska "Jaskolka" = A cover right? And the only song out of those that was good... but what does it help when it's a cover? xshrug

Sikora "Konie" = Screaming pretentious mess was my initial reaction (in other words not a good first impression). There are SOME qualities hidden in there I admit, but it's like the type of song that wants to be as serious and brilliant as "Suus", but simply falls on the singer who looses her vocals in the screaming and built upon a quite boring arrangement and melody to begin with. It wants to be something it's not simply put.

and the worst of the worst:

Ziolko "How to Win" = Just pure awful, borderline cheesy, The Voice winning song, absolute nonsense song with zero qualities imo. Totally soulless and useless wailing/screaming by a totally uncharismatic singer. Yuk... xpuke

Quick search says that he is editor of TVP Entertainment and also he was spokesperson of Opole Festival last year. EDIT: He was also responsible for national finals. Is that good or bad, I don't know :lol:

So Poland..Actually I love Poland as country but why so bad in Eurovision?
They could be a strong country because you know they could a bit belong to ex-Soviet block although they aren't from these countries...
I'm happy for their come back and I hope they will make it to the final.Also it is good that Poland is in 2nd semi so I can vote them.Please send a good song Poland!

About :pl: best entry I can say that the only one I really love in 2010's "Legenda"

I don't think so, because this is not "Bóg tu zmarł". ;)

Personally, after Edyta's official denial, I would like to see Halina, but I also prefer "Bóg tu zmarł" over "Aż do dna".

Not really, "Az Do Dna" isn't half as good as "Bog..." ... I even think that would struggle xshrug It's an ok song but a bit generic...

Yeah please "Bóg Tu Zmarł", Poland would jump straight to my top country this year if they chose that.

I really hope TVP will make the "right" choice here, if they're really planning on sending Halina, then they should really take a closer look at their options before making a decision. I know that "Az do dna" has a video and is her official single from the album, and it has got nice background music (folky), but the song itself is generic and forgettable. If they'd chose that, they would have to make a complete new song over that background music, otherwise it would fail in ESC.

"Bóg tu zmarł" on the other hand is a very unique and classy ballad and would stand-out in ESC. It's a risky song, but the type of song that juries would like and that televoters could find fascinating.

Personally, my first pick would be Donatan/Cleo's "My Słowanie". It's a risky entry (especially when it comes to the juries), but I think it would have a bigger impact and be more "talked about" than any of the Halina songs. Also, would EBU really risk loosing Poland (maybe for good or for a very long time)? I don't think so, so the juries might very well back this one up aswell.

I listened to Bóg Tu Zmarł again today and.. what to say that you already didn't say ? That would be one of the best Polish entries for sure.
The atmosphere is so dense that I can almost imagine a wonderful visual presentation.

Can Halina deliver live? The song seems pretty demanding vocally.

I just found again the Man Meadow songs from 2008 and 2009.
I really loved these songs back than (and I still do :D )

Poland don't need MF left-overs or any import for that matter xshrug

I'd be devastated if they'd come up with the "fab" idea of sending some crappy Swedish MF act of Polish origin (Danny or Martin Rolinski) with some generic MF-left over song... that'd be the biggest horror !
