In this video at the beginning she's a little bit out of tune, but in general it's ok I think... I hope she's the pick of TVP. But no "Aż do dna", please...

Yeah, she is indeed a bit out of tune at first in that clip... but then it sounds good... though it's a hard song and she just can't be nervous if going to ESC with it because then it will fail...
Yeah, "Az do dna" is generic... nice background music but that's all... that song would flop badly in ESC

She wouldn't. On her official Facebook page a message was posted today, saying "there have been never held any talks about Halina's participation in the Eurovision 2014".
So I'm terribly sorry I have to break A-listers' continous dreams about "Bóg tu zmarł", but well, time to choose another main hero of the rumours for the next few days or weeks.

Enej... hmm... It's sorta like Poland 2005 entry mixed with that Ska stuff that we got in ESC already (Turkey 2004, Moldova 2005/2011 , Greece 2013)...
I actually prefer Urbanska to that ... I'm not a big fan of Ska in general, and it's done in ESC way too many times already... the only Ska/ethno entry I actually liked in ESC so far was Turkey 2004 (which was the first one in that genre to enter ESC).
If Poland would go down a route like that, then Zakopower or Gooral would be so much better and original options than a pretty standard Ska/ethno band

2) That song is crap and bad English even in studio version (let's not even comment on the lyrics).
3) I actually like Gosia's earlier stuff (Pozwól żyć for instance is a great Pop song in Polish), so with a style like that I'd approve, but it still wouldn't change the fact that the juries would slaughter her for bad live vocals in ESC.
Why they don't ask Gosia Andrzejewicz to participate in ESC for Poland with her song from Swiss NF this year - "I'm not afraid"?

I don't want rap though... Poland should send a Polish entry, not some wannabe American stuff
Anyways even GOOD rap stuff fails in ESC so it's sorta pointless
"My Slowanie" (type of "rap-singing") is probably the only that could work in ESC but not "real" rapping ...

About Halina... the statement says "There hasn't been any contact regarding ESC" thankfully not "Halina is not interested in participating". Tiny chance still left, please TVP now sit to talks with Halina since they didn't dismiss the idea ;D
For now we must find new people to gossip about.
One thing I know for sure, anyone but Urbańska. She just tries too hard. I don't think she's really true with her music, it's more like some producers gather with her husband and discuss what could be hottt and trendy and sell. Same goes for stage performance. And image the drama when she doesn't qualify Józefowicz would blame politics, vote rigging and god knows who.... it would be certainly intertaining but could dig our grave for good decade

It's funny, I was just about to mention Doda
It's interesting that she's barely been mentioned... her popularity has declined alot in Poland so now would actually be a more realistic chance seeing her try this than some years ago.
Doda - "Wkręceni (High Life)" would be just AMAZING!
