I made him choose between Andorra and Liechtenstein. He chose the latter one. I guess that means we'll see it in ESC next year but no Andorra. :(

Re: Paul, the psychic octopus predicting Germany-Argentina

Well I asked him about some future matches and here is what he picked:

Steaua - Olympiakos
Spain - Netherlands
CFR Cluj - Unirea Urziceni
U Cluj - Steaua
Astra - Dinamo
Inter - Atletico Madrid

He got the first one! Steaua won by 1-0!

Re: Paul, the psychic octopus predicting Germany-Argentina

Now they figured out something more too :p

Looks like Paul ALWAYS chooses the box with food in it. On the latest video footage where he predicted Spain, it can be seen that food was placed there, and ONLY there. And it looks like it was the case in most matches. So, if this is correct, than his "psychic" guesses were all the results of human guesses. So that human puts food in the box with the flag of the country he thinks will win, and lets octopus pick that same box where he placed food for him :p

Very smart :D

He has the same food in both boxes.

Anyway, except Germany - Serbia which was suprise and Germany - Spain which was 50-50. Paul gave obvious predictions.... :p

Based on the media who revealed this info, he doesn't :p the other box doesn't have octopus food, but something else. And it looks similar, because the goal is to trick the audience into thinking that the octopus knows everything :p That also explains how he quickly moved from the German box to the Spanish one, because the real food is there :p

I will believe that this octopus is psychic if they give him to predict something with more than two possibilities, as there is always a 50-50 chance he will get one right even without the food :p If they prove that, he deserves a Nobel prize, and I will hold my word

Eh, let's see

1.The food was there

2.By accident?

3.Maybe he liked the eagle on our flag xrofl3

4.Many football experts thought that it's possible that Serbia will defeat Germany (I am not one of them though  )

Re: Paul, the psychic octopus predicting Germany-Argentina

Well, I still think it's silly to think that an octopus (or even a person) can be physic ;)

But both boxes had food. Otherwise, everybody had noticed... I mean there are millions of journalists there, can't they see that one box has food and the other one doesn't???

And I saw a complete video about the Germany - Spain prediction and actually Paul didn't go inmediately to the Spanish box. He was swimming around both boxes for some minutes, unlike now when the octopus inmediately opened the Spanish box.

How can someone watch a complot in this silly thing?

I'm just guessing what is the profit of his owners to put real food on one box,and not in another box  .Anyways.what is that thing that looks like a mussel, but isn't a mussel  ?

Re: Paul, the psychic octopus predicting Germany-Argentina

^^ Well it's all pure marketing. Both for Paul and his owners. And the possibility of media manipulation is huge, as we can see. Swine flu and that Icelandic volcano dust (which no one doubted it couldn't be true, as we have all seen the pictures of it) are perfect examples of this. Both were fake. I am just wondering what will come out next

But since I am the obviously the only one who doesn't believe in this animal Nostaradmus, or in any other supernatural ability, I will hold my further comments on this topic :p
