this just seems to be a day of counting your chickens before theyve hatched :p
Tell me about it :'( You would think though that AFTER the result it'd be fine to celebrate silver, but obvs not!
The things I support always seem to end up having rotten luck... really gunna have to learn to keep my mouth shut but its hard :p

It's bronze now... Japan sucks big time-.-

If they successfully appealed their score, then obviously the judges got something wrong. The Japs did the right thing.

Shocked Tancock didn't get a medal there. Team GB are really sucking in the pool this time. I assume Adlington will win Gold in the 800, but they will still have expected much better than they have so far.

Janko Tipsarevic and Ana Ivanovic eliminated their opponents in the second round, and now they are going to play against Isner (Janko) and Kim Clijsters (Ana). Janko Tipsarevic and Nenad Zimonjic also passed the first round in doubles :D

A swimmer Velimir Stjepanovic also made it into the final in swimming 30 minutes ago :D Nobody expected this and I am really satisfied with this achievement. It is a fantastic success and no matter what he does in the final, he is already a hero.

15-year-old Lithuanian wonder Ruta Meilutytė, who swam a new European record in 100m breaststroke semi-final last night, won the gold medal tonight. Superb!

Kim broke the olympic record (152 kg) and repeated the world record with 153 kg in total xclap North Korea is so succesful in this tournament! they are now in the 4th place with 3 golds!

Btw Germany and Belgium have finally got some medals  but Germany is an epic fail indeed, participating with about 400 athletes and only one silver so far ? xthink

I started crying after Rūta finished first. And I couldn't stop doing that all the time untill she got the medal. It's incredible feeling to see such a young girl reaching Olympic top. Can't be better!

Women's weightlifting 63 kg

1 - :kz: Maiya Maneza
2 - :ru: Svetlana Tsarukaeva
3 - :ca: Christine Girard

Sibel Simsek was our last chance for a medal in women's weightlifting, she could have even got the gold medal today, but I think there is a black cloud above our athletes...

Anyway, congrats to Maneza, who brought another gold medal to Kazakhstan xclap
