North Korea VS Columbia delayed at Hampden because they displayed the South Korean flag on the big screen instead of North Korea. Actually kind of hilarious, although I understand why they were pissed off. This match will finish pretty late. Great start to the Olympics in Glasgow!

What's so funny here ? that the honour of a nation is humiliated with such a provacation obviously made on purpose ?

Someone will have done it for a laugh knowing what their reaction would be!

This is a disrespectful act toward North Korean people. I think they should apologize for that. I'm sure it would not be that '' laughable '' for you if you were a subject to such an act.

We're talking about North Korea here, One of the most shameful and disgusting countries on this planet. I have no sympathy at all for them. It was still a mistake and someone will get punished for it, but the fact that It's North Korea makes it highly amusing.

Good victory for them though, although the game was played at an awful level. Women's football is still garbage I'm afraid, and there must have been about 1000 people in a stadium that can hold 52500.

Have to agree with you! The GB vs NZ match was exciting in places, but for like 90% of the time, they made even the England team look like football legends .
The crowd numbers was very disappointing, hopefully they'll pick up after the opening ceremony though. I wish that numbers between men's and women's had been more balanced and I might have managed to get tickets for Old Trafford :/.

Just because you don't like the regime or the government of that country, it doesn't give you the right to humiliate the honour of the country in the most popular international sports event, which should be kept away from political issues. And it's not the government that is represented there, it's the North Korean people who were humiliated there.

If I were them, I'd immediately withdraw unless I get apologized.

This was the Olympic Torch today, firstly at Wembley Stadium, carried by Gordon Banks, a retired English goalkeeper.

Never at any point did I excuse it. Like I said, someone screwed up and will get nailed for it. I believe there has also been multiple apologies. What was done at Hampden was technically wrong, but I still find it funny.
