Sandras Song is powerful, but the chorus is too close to TAKASA and I hated that one…

Overall, the this semi is much weaker than the first one.

I miss something in Elsies Song. I fear she wont even come close to win.

Terrible song indeed. But hear my story.

Just as mauve was making herself a hot chocolate a few moments ago,she froze.
mauve (mumbling): My mind just tricked me.
*but then mauve hears the melody again: "G-E-R-O-N-I-M-O! "
mauve (completely terrified): Show yourself, Satan! xdiablo
*and the melody starts again "G-E-R-O-N-I-M-O! "
mauve: xfaintxfaintxfaint
mauve: Satan, take my hot chocolate and disappear!
Satan took mauve's hot chocolate, but did not disappear.

The moral of the story: a bad song can haunt you! xscared
"Bad Philosophy" did the same with me! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Lots of fillers here...
  • Ella and Elsie Bay should go through, but the MGP win seems unlikely.
  • Jone, why not, but as mentioned above, it just sounds like a Vini Vici / DV&LM since 2019 / Hilight Tribe / Steve Aoki since 2020 - track, well, like a so-called psytrance that kills the genre every day for years now.
  • Sandra, a bit cheesy, but interesting.
  • Edvardsen, Fuentes and Swing'it, absolutely awful.

I just saw the live performance of Queen of Kings and I'm just astonished at how promising it was! I knew Alessandra was good, but I didn't thought she was this good actually... Could be a dark horse, but Ulrikke and Maria Celin in my opinion are still the favourites of this year's MGP.

01 Sandra Lyng – Drøm D Bort 10/10
02 Jone – Ekke Inni Meg 10/10
03 Ella A – Waist 9/10
04 Alejandro Fuentes – Fuego 7/10
05 Swing’it – Prohibition 7/10
06 Elsie Bay – Love You In A Dream 6/10
07 Bjørn Olav Edvardsen – Turn Off My Heart 6/10

I think i fail in love with this MGP, they delivers this year so good songs, after Alessandra being on my top she get big competitors, love the songs from Sandra and Jone, Alessandra & Sandy tied for top of my full ranking. Ella A is also amazing. If you ask me i have nothing against Oslo 2024 at the moment. Strongest NF so far this year.

i honestly don't see Elsie Bay qualifying, the song goes nowhere.
my picks (not saying they are my favourites) would be sandra lyng, ella & swing' it

Ekke Inne Meg and Love You in my dream are my favorites here after the first listening and could also be the qualifiers in the end :-) But nothing comes close to Queen of Kings here

Tumblr, mostly.
:8: Jone - "Ekko inni mig" (Finally an obvious autotune abuser I can get behind)
:7: Elsie Bay - "Love you in a dream" (Elsie doing Elsie things, idk i like the orchestra tion I guess.)
:7: Ella A - "Waist" (actually hilarious and fresh, and it will do about as well in ESC as Tooji) (lol this is dying in the semi to Bjørn who AM i kidding?)
:5: Sandra Lyng - Drøm d bort" (so plain. The melody's pretty, but nothing is done with it? You do realize you need more than just a handfuls of nananas, right? This is just lazy.)
:4:
Swing'it - "Prohibition" (Your Electro-swing disguise has fooled NOBODY Citi Zeni. Idk this is just annoying novelty funk masquerading as Elina Born's "In or Out", and it will be equally well-received).
:3: Alejandro Fuentes - "Fuego" (this sounds like a fucking royalty-free track)
:2: Bjørn Olav - "Turn off my heart" (turn off this song. It's bad. Watch it qualify though because Norway can't resist the urge to vote for a Paffetic Sobbing Gay. (see also: Kiim))

Idk what it is abut Elsie's song, but I love it soo much. We'll see how she does live though, cause she kind of failed in that department last year.
