What can I say?
I can't make her stay
When I know that she's so far above
How could she ever love someone like me
She's out of reach

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

She's so far out of this world
No way I could ever be with her
'Cause I know heaven's your home
That's where angels belong
And it wouldn't be fair
If I keep you down here

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able
And I need you to know
That it's okay to let me go
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Yeah I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And I'm still not sure
What you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able, so
Just let me go (I'm a, I'm a fallen angel)
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

Im really disappointed how esc fans behave and react this night..
They are ranting on him all the time just because Keiino lost..
What a shame..
He won with a margin of 100 000 votes, (all regiona of Norway except North), just respect that for Gods sake..

I'd rather be mad at him for choosing an English version instead of Norwegian one, but again, that is his choice.. xshrug

I voted 7 in the poll...

KEiiNO are very talented but lets face it the song was dated rubbish. It was a tick box song with zero integrity. It would of had no chance at ESC.It was a very decent MGP,and although Tix wont do anything at ESC it probably deserved to win tonight. The idea that KEiiNO would of won ESC is ridiculous. It would of got nothing from juries and if your outside of top 5 with them you aint winning.
Preach it. Keiino's song is like an amalgamation of all the Eurovision cliches in 3 minutes.
I actually enjoy it, and I think it actually sounds really great up until the second chorus - until then it's walking the right side of the fine line between being an epic/timeless Europop hit and a cliched mess, but when the keychange hits with the "THUNDER AND GLORIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" bit I can't help but cringe into another dimension.

Still, it's miles better than TIX's dated nsync b-side. It would have in no way come close to winning Eurovision, but it would surely have made the final, and I really don't see TIX getting even close to qualifying if the staging stays the same.

If there's one thing that didn't happen tonight is Aksel winning again in Finland. The hatred overflowing his social media feeds would be even more so painful if he did win. The last thing we need in this world is another Aksel story... there are human people behind all these songs, and they have feelings too, and if your ego feels a little better for needing to insult the winner over your favourite not winning, then fuck you and don't have a pleasant evening for the rest of your life

I mean, on one hand, I don't think that anyone should be going after the artist or anything like that, but just because something won doesn't mean people can't critique the song (which is bad soz). Most of what I've seen on here doesn't seem to cross a line. As long as the person isn't attacked on things on social for something other than the song (unless they're racist or something), then it should be fine. I think it's a little extra that this is getting ratio'd on the official channel, but c'est la vie.

Just to add, making music isn't an easy process, too. Yes, sometimes the finished song doesn't translate well to the listener, and that's what consuming music consists of (including to critique the product), but recording a song requires hours of songwriting, hours of sitting in the studio to make composition, hours of voice recording, mixing, mastering, and also hours of promoting. I tried to make music, and I finally understand such labor of love (or calculation/teamwork) it is to make a single song. At least we're not here to flood YouTube comments or Instagram DMs or Eurovision official channel to bitch about not liking a song.

It's a decent effort, but this stage show for me is just off putting. I hope they will do something about it.

Well, the vocals are nice.

Apart from that, the song isn’t awful but it kinda goes nowhere, seems rather forgetful.
The staging is just awful tho. I have no idea what is that costume suppose to be and the wings are just ugly looking.

3 pts.

P.S. Hate Keiino. Horrible style and type of music, makes me wanna shoot the tv. Ugh. Thank God I don’t have to listen to that this year as well.

yeah, we don't need another case similar to aksel. there is no reason to go and attack the winner of the nf because the ultimate fan favorite didn't win. 1. it's not their fault 2. their victory was fair 3. they were also competing to win in the end. there is a glaring difference between "I HATE THIS SONG I DON'T THINK IT SHOULD HAVE WON" and "TIX I'M MASSAGING YOU TO SAY I HATE YOUR SONG YOU SHOULD QUIT ROT RETIRE"

Not wanting to dance anymore, but I must dance
In the end, it boils down to some people just aren't level-headed and respectful.

On here I've mostly seen people criticize the song itself or the staging, something done to all competing and winning songs.

I have no doubt that there's people elsewhere that are eviscerating him for everything from his appearance to his disability, because that's what so much of online platforms are nowadays with a sense of disconnect due to anonymity, even though KEiiNO or Raylee or any of the other competitors would be appalled and ashamed that these "fans" are acting out in such an abhorrent way.

As @Matt has said so many times, our personal winners may not have won, but that doesn't mean them or their music is disappearing. People really need to just step away from their keyboards/keypads and just put their faves songs on and not resort to such awful tactics, as in the end they're just making things beyond toxic.

Somehow, despite TIX’s name and popularity I thought it would‘ve been obvious to the average viewer that Monument with all it’s layers and originality, had far greater ESC potential than something we’ve all seen and heard before like Fallen Angel. Such a shame that evidently that wasn’t the case and that now we’re left with something so cliché and minimal impact that’s already been done to death and that few will even remember in years to come.

The absolute worst of the late 90s/early 00s era crammed into this song. Disaster and I will be surprised if any other country releases worse entry for me this year.
It's disappointing also because some other Tix's songs I've heard were nice.

Oh dear, I suppose we won't be very popular within the Eurovision fandom this year, I see. Unfortunate for TIX that he competed the year where KEiiNO returned with a fan-favorite song...

Though if TIX entered with a better song, such as the songs he's already released that are widely popular here, this would've been a landslide.
Kinda lame when the fans hate on him only for beating a fan wank group or song. :(

Just reading through the Eurovision Norway Facebook group, I think most people are so mad because they really thought we had a winner in Monument. It would’ve had a good shot at top ten but it wasn’t a winner
As much as I enjoy Monument, I am glad Keiino didn't end up winning tonight. It would be like Joci Papai all over again. Repetitive and uncreative.

Well, not that I am a huge fan of the winning song or something though.

I hope he is reading comments all over social media and dislikes ratio. I think he can't wait that may comes to end and forgets about esc. He wanted esc, now he is on esc. Now he has to deal with it. Whole europe is mad and in shock. He is allowed to take critics from now on. I won't choose censor my opinion just because he is popular name in norway or because he has some mental issues.

I really hate the atmosphere in the fandom when a fan favourite doesn't make it.

You don't like the song? Yeah, we know (tbh I don't like it neither). But if télévote in its country make him win by a landslide : he is a deserved winner, no matter your personal opinion or your esc results predictions.

I really can't stand the mean messages : take a break, drink a glass of water, enjoy the songs you like. If people in a country want a representative you don't like maybe you should stop thinking that they are dumb or whatever worst you are going to say.

(edit: I speak about the fandom globally, not only here, and I don't say that disliking a song is mean. It's the way people as a group like to express the thing the problem.)
