What can I say?
I can't make her stay
When I know that she's so far above
How could she ever love someone like me
She's out of reach

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

She's so far out of this world
No way I could ever be with her
'Cause I know heaven's your home
That's where angels belong
And it wouldn't be fair
If I keep you down here

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able
And I need you to know
That it's okay to let me go
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Yeah I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And I'm still not sure
What you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able, so
Just let me go (I'm a, I'm a fallen angel)
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

It's difficult to see Monument not winning at this stage but I would be fine with any of my top 4 winning.

Final ranking:

1. KEiiNO - Monument
2. Kaja Rode - Feel Again
3. Blåsemafian feat. Hazel - Let Loose
4. Jorn - Faith Bloody Faith

5. Emmy - Witch Woods
6. Imerika - I Can't Escape
7. Rein Alexander - Eyes Wide Open
8. Atle Pettersen - World on Fire
9. TIX - Ut av Mørket

10. Raylee - Hero
11. Stavangerkameratene - Who I am
12. Kiim - My Lonely Voice

1. Keiino – Monument
2. Jorn – Faith bloody faith
3. Emmy – Witch Woods
4. Rein Alexander - Eyes Wide Open
5. TIX - Ut Av mørket
6. Raylee – Hero

These are the entries I care about. I would be extremely happy about the first three. But let's face the truth: Jorn won't make it, but I am still happy that he made it to the final. Rein, TIX and Raylee are good, but my second choice. The other songs I didn't list - don't like them much. I hope that one of those six win!

My winner is Raylee again. My first impression of "Wild" was better than my first impression of "Hero", but that performance is giving me everything! xbow And i didn't even get the flashdance references
Raylee is now one of my national final queens with two gold and one bronze medal. Send her already! xlove
Emmy is a very close second. But Raylee won me over for reasons above.
I'm satisfied with Jorn's qualification yesterday. Now i hope his final placement will be higher than Blasemafian's. Songs like "Faith Bloody Faith" have been my MGP winners in the past, but this year is extremely strong.
Rein's live performance elevated the song, just as i thought. He's an excellent performer ! xbow

Keiino is in the same range as in 2019. Pretty likeable.Tix grew on me ever further. Kaja faded a little, but all three are still worthy eurovision songs for me.

"Yes please:"x12points
Raylee "Hero"
Emmy "Witch Woods"
Jorn "Faith Bloody Faith"
Rein Alexander "Eyes Wide Open"

"Yes:"xup
KEiiNO "Monument"
TIX "Ut av mørket"
Kaja Rode "Feel Again"

"Fine, i can live with it, after i accept the above ones lost:":cautious:
Blåsemafian feat. Hazel "Let Loose"

"I'd rather not:"
IMERIKA "I Can't Escape"
Stavangerkameratene "Who I Am"
Atle Pettersen "World on Fire"
KiiM "My Lonely Voice"

I had already liked Faith Bloody Faith before, but at first I only thought "oh, what a cute litte hard rock / metal song, it's not gonna be my winner, but I do enjoy it" and I didn't pay the amount of attention it rightfully deserved. After yesterday's round, I have the song on repeat since waking up today and I am now officially obsessed. I know Jorn isn't winning on Saturday, but I really wouldn't mind that happening. Even over KEiiNO. Yeah, I really do not see it happening.

I love the lyrics. Screams of frustration about all the pain and wrongs religions bring upon us? Oh boy, count me in. I want to see more expressions of that feeling in mainstream music. The song has the right amount of preachiness without going too literal, plain or cheesy, somewhat reminding me of 'The Price of a Mile' by Sabaton. I also love the majestic epic sound contrasting with lyrics denouncing religion, violence and war - yes, yes, yes. Yes, please.

Age defying rockstars kicking everyone's ass? Magical. It works well in Love Actually, and it works for me in real life as well, especially when you have someone as skilled and experienced as Jorn. I dare say his performance is Freddie-Mercury-worthy embodiment of pure testosterone, putting all little Melfest wannabe cool princelings into dust, right where they belong (but I am a straight guy after all, so feel free to shamelessly discard my opinion on this matter for my lack of expertise).

And cherry on the top? The calm moments at the beginning, in the middle and by the end take advantage of my favourite classical Indian music instruments - tanpura, tabla and sarangi - supporting the epic feel of history and timelessness. Screw you you youtube reactors with all the "oh, lovely, how egyptian / middle east sounding is this?" - oh no my friends*, this is India. Pure In-di-a. Classical India blended with european hard rock, and who would have guessed it? - it works just perfectly.

Faith Bloody Faith is a masterpiece, and don't even bother trying to prove me otherwise.

* actually, I only saw two reactors having a positive reaction to the song and one of them was Matt. Props to Matt and the other guy, everyone else, be a darling and go hide under the closest rock, thank you. I'll surely be joining you for not getting this sooner.

My ranking of MGP has thus slightly changed (though one thing remains: Norway, have my wig for all the quality you've brought, last year I liked Melfest better but this year is a completely different story for now).

Please win MGP and take Eurovision trophy with it: KEiiNO, Jorn
Win and I won't cry for my faves for too long: Raylee
Feel free to win unless you translate the song, and could we please have a word about your staging first? : Tix (yeah, shame, another grower...)
I like your songs, don't dare winning: Emmy, Rein, Imerika, Blåsemafian.
I don't say I hate you but I just don't feel it that much: the other 4.

In my opinion, I'd be pleased if either KEiiNO, IMERIKA or Emmy were chosen.

Bill Nighy was absolutely fantastic in Love Actually. I still laugh so much whenever I see him in the movie! :ROFLMAO:

Absolutely fantastic. Love Actually includes a dozen of British superstars mostly bringing their A game; but Bill Nighy still manages to shine brightly among them all. I kinda wish I was his manager in some alternate Universe :)

I think "Elevate" is a better song than "Faith Bloody Faith", but after Stina's weak performance, I'm happy that Jorn made it to the final instead ;)
I'm still rooting for Emmy though! "Witch Woods" is a true masterpiece xheart

Very good order for Jorn (I can see him making the top 4 now?) and KEiiNO, not so much for Raylee (but I can still see her making top 4, where the order won't matter as much).

Overall, I am pleased.
