It really needs to be IMERIKA. Possibly my favorite of the whole selection. RIVER is OK as an alternative and TuVeia is a funny joke but she's the clear choice here for my taste.

Good News, we ARE in that Houdek/Equinox zone of "So Extraordinarily Good At Being So Outrageously Bad". I don't hate it because honestly it will flop SO hard at a certain point and it'll be glorious and hilarious.

All the things I wrote still apply though :-)

Agree Rein would normally flop, but it will be steered to a decent result (talked up, last group in finals etc)

This heat did nothing for me. Can't see the Imerika hype at all.

Hopefully Jorn can make to the final in 'last chance' on Monday so that I at least have 2 favorites this year (typically only 1 or 2 that gets me anyway)

I am in the minority once again, but I love Rein's song. Imerica was okay, but not too much my thing.

I won’t be jumping on the Imerika hype train. Her song’s fine, but the genre does nothing for me.

Imerika's song is soft like a gentle caress, I quite enjoy it - I don't really think she's a threat for the n°1 spot, but she could cancel out KiiM at the very least...

I also love now-civilized-viking-turned-wannabe-Bond's song, sue me if you must

Erika's song is amazing. I have to admit I like it and enjoy it and it could be one of my contenders for the win. However it's really that stereotypical American world pop hit ballad that at least has ten variations released each year, and you all know what I'm talking about.

I'm really into Imerika's song but something is missing there for it to fully hit the feels. I think the instrumentals in the bridge before the chorus should be extended a few extra seconds for the climax to really hit the spot
Also you can really tell that Imerika isn't fully comfortable with performing on a big stage, she doesn't quite have that confidence yet, but to me it works pretty well with this entry as it kinds fits the atmosphere.

Even though it doesn't reach it's full potential I still think it'll be the song I'm supporting on next saturday's ok-ish final. Also, can we take a moment to try and think how Imerika felt when NRK put Kaja's song (co-written by her) automatically to the final instead of her own entry? That must have stung

Anyway, unless something surprising happens with the stagings and all, I'm pretty sure Keiino, TIX and Imerika are guaranteed in the top 4, with Raylee being very likely to be the other one making it through. Don't really see anyone else gathering enough televote support to challenge these four.

Keiino – Monument
Rein Alexander - Eyes Wide Open
Emmy – Witch Woods
TIX - Ut Av mørket
Raylee – Hero

Still rooting mostly for Keiino, but I would be happy with each one of them. Well done, Norway! I can't remember when I liked so many songs last time!

Are the weak shaky vocals part of the artisic concept in IMERIKAs song? The song itself is not really bad (not especially good either, I‘ve got the feeling that I‘ve heard it already a few times in the past), but that vocal performance left me bewildered.

What an interesting composition by Imerika.. It is so delicate and daring...
Well done, this seems really great.. Maybe the accent is a bit irritating at times.. It is very special, probably not for everybody..
My fave, right after KiiM..ballads rule in MGP for me this season..

I'm shocked how popular IMERIKA is. But it's very useful for meditation. After 30 seconds I'm completely focused on my breath, forgetting everything.

Just watched the 'live' performances, there are obvious issues with the camera angles in all performances.
My thoughts on each performance:

1. IMERIKA: The best out of the 4 vocally. But there is nothing much happening in the staging. Need something to make it more impactful.

2. RIVER: The performance is not bad, but then nothing much going on. The staging somehow reminded me of The Netherlands 2014.

3. TuVeia: What a pity that the staging looks like a high school stage performance. But I really like the green suits, they look very nice in them. But too bad the performance is pretty lacking

4. Ane.Fin: The song has potential but the empty staging overall didn't elevate the song and somehow make it feels like it's much longer than 3 minutes.

- Rein Alexander: I am not sure about the staging and he needs to get rid of the intro. His voice is really good, but not convinced it is the winning entry for Norway.

As for the second chance, I hope Daniel Owen or Ole Hartz will go through. Don't really care about the rest.

So now that all songs are out, I am pretty sure it's a fight between KeiiNo x Raylee x TIX.
