What can I say?
I can't make her stay
When I know that she's so far above
How could she ever love someone like me
She's out of reach

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

She's so far out of this world
No way I could ever be with her
'Cause I know heaven's your home
That's where angels belong
And it wouldn't be fair
If I keep you down here

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able
And I need you to know
That it's okay to let me go
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Yeah I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And I'm still not sure
What you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able, so
Just let me go (I'm a, I'm a fallen angel)
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

Nice interview. They are such a good bunch. Still amazed about their age gap and how they are above all that to still connect as well as they have.

Don't hold back
I mean she said in the postcard before the song that it was about time she wins this thing, and next target was taking Beyonce's place at superbowl in USA. As you well know, Norwegian's like their own to be more humble, down to earth and will surely find this 'star' tough to swallow. A great song would outweigh all that, but it isn't. Shame with her as she had so much promise when she was young Lotta, but now seems to spend her whole days in front of a mirror.

@Neo
LOL what will be with this one, then?

This is the obligatory tough-girl-with-attitude song that seems to be every year. Boring and already quite dated IMO.

I mean if Raylee is seen with too many botox and plastic by a lot of ppl in Norway, as you have stated, what about this one then?

Of course also plastic, but the question was why Raylee is seemingly not as popular at home as she is elsewhere and I gave my take on that.

This one will be last in her heat and is a non-topic from the start.

That postcard was embarrassing, I agree. There's nothing wrong with being confident but portraying yourself as superior is not a good look here. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it effects her final result.

World on Fire has a pleasant melody but is a "heard it 500 times before" case so I can't get super excited over it. Again, there are arguably better songs in the Semi that didn't make the cut.

Again, not a bad song but I don't quite get how this deserved a final spot over some of the other entries.

Agree. Faith Bloody Faith, for example, is far more original and authentic. World On Fire is a "made in China" song - mass produced and enjoyable for a week, then forgotten about and thrown behind a couch.

I really hope the last semi-final has some sort of hidden gem. Everything so far has been so dull and/or by the numbers.
MGP post 2016 really just isn't the same. I miss the alternative songs with eletronic vibes like "I feed you my love", "Human Beings", "High Hopes" or "Icebreaker", and the classy violin ballads like "Afterglow", "A monster like me" or "Silent storm".

Can I just say how disappointing I find Atle Petersons entry.
Musically its not interesting at best and honestly in these times I don‘t need somebody who wants to set the world on fire. There are people who deliberately burn down the rainforests around the world, there are bushfires thanks to climate change, and so forth. Honey - be careful with your metaphores, they might actually already be reality...

Don‘t misinterpret this please as part of a „you cannot sing this“-cancel culture. I just don‘t like the lyrics, that‘s it.
