What can I say?
I can't make her stay
When I know that she's so far above
How could she ever love someone like me
She's out of reach

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

She's so far out of this world
No way I could ever be with her
'Cause I know heaven's your home
That's where angels belong
And it wouldn't be fair
If I keep you down here

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able
And I need you to know
That it's okay to let me go
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Yeah I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And I'm still not sure
What you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able, so
Just let me go (I'm a, I'm a fallen angel)
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

My ranking for the 4th heat on first listen:

1. Royane - Circus (Sounds a little like Kelis' "Trick Me". It's interesting, but somehow it's low-energy?)
2. Marianne Pentha & Mikkel Gaup - Pages (Enjoy the ethnic bits in the song, but there is something missing in the song that wins me over completely.)
3. KiiM - My Lonely Voice (His voice is pretty interesting. It does like those typical heartfelt ballads, almost like a modern take of Russia 2008 winning entry. Decent.)
4. Landeveiens Helter - Alt det der (This is so Euro-pop/rock from the 2000s. Not that it's bad, but it's not that good. Average at best.)

Overall: Nothing screams winner for me. Have to see the 'live' performance.

To be honest, for now, I think it's likely to be a fight between Keiino, Raylee and TIX.
But Keiino needs to do something to their staging, because it's such a non-event for an anthemic song.
Raylee got the edge for now due to how polished the performance is, she just needs to work on some of the dodgy vocals.
TIX for his popularity, the song is alright but the staging is a BIG NO.

Emmy would have been a contender if she shows an ounce of stage presence. She is way too static on the stage. Didn't you see how she just walks to assume the positions in the entire performance?

Any news from Kaja concerning.... changing her performance completely? It would be such a waste to send Keiino instead of that voice.

A lot of people here think Raylee is a serious contender but I can see very little hype for that song here in Norway, at least among the Eurovision fan groups I’ve been speaking with. It will be interesting to see how well she does. Hopefully the vocals can be improved!

yet the bubbles were going crazy for her, while Keiino literally had almost no reactions.. so yeah we will see. I think Raylee has the only waw staging moment, all others are either boring or cheap. I sincerely hope she wins, but yes I doubt it... she isn't that famous... But also her song can appeal to older people as to young..

The only wow-Moment Raylee had was the Flashdance-imitation she performed on stage. Is water allowed though at ESC (I am not sure about it)? Her vocals were shaky at times, so she has to improve a lot to win the whole thing. Don't understand me wrong - I like the song, but it isn't as professional as Keiino imo. But who knows what will happen!

I like Keiino, but tbh it really isn't anything special and people are saying it's different from Sits but for me it's lowkey the same. Water is allowed in Rotterdam, but if they should perform at home than it is not allowed (don't understand that but a rule is a rule)

That is true, but in this year's rules they say that you are not allowed to use water in live-on-tape performances. So if this performance will be done in Norway instead of Netherlands, there's a problem.

"What can’t broadcasters use in their performance?
The live-on-tape recordings should not contain any augmented or virtual reality, overlays, confetti, drone shots, water, use of chromakey or green screen."

Tumblr, mostly.

The real irony of 'Monument' is that it is a much, much better song than Spirit in the Sky from a musical perspective. Which of course, makes it come off as calculated and superior, which are two very bad traits to be vibing from the get-go. The art of being worse by being better. Eat your heart out, Alanis.

Not to mention that 'Monument' is fundamentally different from 'Spirit' (Spirit was fun fluff. Monument takes itself seriously), which takes time for us, the fans to adjust to. Those who liked KEiiNO for its frivolity aren't going to like 'Monument', and those who disliked KEiiNO because they weren't 'serious' enough or whatever, are going to like them now.

I don't think anyone with a crumb of insight thinks Raylee is going to win MGP. Most of the people claiming that Raylee can win project themselves - they want her to win, desperately so and expect everyone else to think the same. KEiiNO, TIX. Those are your contenders so far. We'll see if the semi 5 stirs up another one.

I really love Raylee so I'm trying not to confuse my love for her with love for her song. It's definitely fun! Upbeat and catchy. But is it Eurovision top 10 material? I don't think so, sadly.

IMO the song is up there, but I think people score her down on the botox look, the bullish talk and even the silly name when the song and act is also a fake American copy.
