The Norwegian song is original, dynamic Eurodance, Folk, Schlager, Mysticism, Sami and - above all - happy, catchy 'party-have fun'-music all in one! What's there not to like? :D xcheer

It so deserves to go the final on Saturday imo but I fear the juries may kill it. Wish the entry best of luck in the semis this week! Lykke til, KEiiNO! xup

The Reaction in the Arena was incredible. I think they were 2nd after :nl: in the Televoting and still Top10 with Juries.
Where is your Fanflop now, dear Haters? ;)

Well  was a fan favourite so it wasn't really surprising the reaction in the arena was good - but I have to say, I actually did warm up to this. I didn't like it AT ALL but now I'm actually glad they made it

I thought ethnic pop was a Mediterranean trend, but cool to see a nordic country also play with folkish elements. Awesome!

So happy for them! The joik part didn't sound super, at least they toned down (or entirely removed) the unnecessary backing vocals for it, and the "spirit animal pictures" didn't show up properly, also though the "crumbled paper mountains" looked silly and went on for too long. Hopefully they can fix those things, this can very well make top 5 now!

yaaaaasssss

I was praying for Norway all evening long as I couldn't vote this evening.

2nd half is so great, they could close the show I guess.

Norway almost got a vote out of me this semi (all 7 of ours were Robert :p). They slayed it, especially she did. Deserved qualification.

I'm really happy for Norway. I especially enjoyed seeing Alexandra. She seemed overwhelmed with emotion during the final chorus, and it was just lovely to see. You could tell it was a special moment for her.

This was without a doubt the highlight of the semi for me. To all the people who dismissed this as a cheap fanwank- LOL.

I was one of the people that was worried about this qualifying but I'm so happy to be wrong. The staging was maybe a bit plain in parts but you could see how much they were all enjoying their time up on stage - perhaps more than anyone else this year - and it was infectious. Looking forward to sending them some votes on Sunday morning xheya

They've put in so much work during pre-season and they all care so much about the song and the contest and the fans, I'm overjoyed it came together for them, even if Tom effed up the lyrics in the first chorus.

Still one of my favs, it's novelty and ESC-que, but in a good way. The performance is pretty stripped down for this kind of entry, but they did better than in their national selection where it looked more messy. Pure joy, unpretentious.
