This has lost A LOT of hype and attention since winning MGP....I imagine with the first half draw this most likely place outside the top 10 xshrug

The only thing saving it from a total flop is the jury propping it as much as they can similar to Sweden last year xshrug

Good singing, but I miss quite a lot in this performance. Especially feelings, emotions...... The song is about this and Carl makes me feel NOTHING.

Deserved qualifier and kinda deserved top-10 he'll get on Saturday though.

For a moment I thought his outfit (W T F was that all about?) will kill it. Glad it didn't happen. But it stands no chance with the public if they do not package it better for the final. And we all know this isn't going to happen. Oh well... at least it's a nice song.

I can't believe how could this song win the Grand Prix over Linnea Dale's High Hopes.

For a start, get rid of the sleeveless suit. Interact with the camera or alternatively don't acknowledge it at all. Dim out the stage, cut the bright spot lights...

I'm sad about the 1st half draw, but oh well... I can still hope for top 10, as long as DR don't give them the shaft again NONO

I'll be in the crowd, I demand my favourites do well!

This was as expected as it was deserved. Even so, I'm overjoyed that it materialized. :D

His litle carpentry workshop in the postcard halped it be the most genuine ESC entry ever...

Yes, the draw is very unfortunate. Early in the semi, early in the final (just like :az:).

This adds to the 'public secret' that Denmark loves Sweden (and vice versa) more than 'their other neighbour', Norway.

Why is 13 better than no 5 ......... I have taken a look at the songs which performed at no 5 ....... And they all sucks except maybe Armenia in 2008 Norway can still end up in top 5 they have a strong ballad this year. Switzerland end with start no 13 at no 25 (last) in 2011 (bad song) else they were all strong songs.

Both Sweden and Norway has a strong song so I believe they both have good chances for top 5

A beautiful, raw, sincere performance from Carl as expected. I love him so much. When it comes to interpretation, he and Valentina are in a different league to everyone else. Just such brutally honest, chilling yet beautiful vocals. He really was magnificent tonight..

But there are problems. There is something about the performance that doesn't sit right with me. He doesn't need all this unnecessary kitsch behind him. For such a sophisticated song, he should be there alone on stage, perhaps in the dark. I'm unsure that this can win anymore, it would certainly be a very pleasant surprise if he were to. I'll be voting for him again in the final.
