Well, you know, this isn't the year of huge favourites. Songs that are well-produced, with good vocals/staging can do better than they normally would if they competed some other year. That's how Azerbaijan won in 2011....the song wasn't a big favourite but a good production, good staging, pleasant melody etc were enough for a victory on a year that, apart from Sognu (that was destroyed live), no songs had really stood out.

Oh, I expect Sweden to do very well. I'm not sure it will be that high but a top 10, for sure.

I can see them coming 5th. 2nd in the betting is taking the mick, I expect it to be ridiculously high in the OGAE poll too

I personally can't see Carl Espen topping or even coming that high in an OGAE poll. I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised though. He's not the type of artist they'd go for. I think Sweden or even Hungary are most likely to win their poll.

Norway is not a typical OGAE favourite. But this year even the OGAE votings are to me unpredictable.

If I were you I'd put on the UK..

Good voice (jury can vote), also it's not too modern for them or too uptempo, it;s mid tempo they can vote it

Televotng can also vote her because for ESC audience it sounds modern, and lyrics have their momentum (you know what I mean)

Yes, I have actually concidered that... the UK. Although I dont agree completely on your analisis of the jury votes. But yes, this can work with both juries and televoters.

A really nice song but for me the live vocals just aren't good enough. He comes across as a bit weedy. Don't think it is good enough for top 5 but nice enough for top 10.

By FAAAR the most overrated song this year... I can't get why this would be a runaway winner? It's a decent ballad that isn't cliché in the ESC sense... but a big winner?

Would you like to point us in the direction of a better song to take the win then? I struggle to think of one really as this is such a different ballad in the context of Eurovision. We haven't really had anything quite like it in the contest. Quite a few people don't like it as well as they can't get past Carl's voice. I think UK and Hungary are much more overrated, Hungary especially as the singer is nothing special and lyrically the song doesn't work.
