Although it's certainly interesting when a country tops the odds, it basically means what we (eurofans) believe that will do well...and, usually, we are right, especially about the winner. However, who can forget 2011 and Sognu that kept the first spot in the odds for ages...and we all know what happened.
Personally, I think that the reason Norway is dropping is because many fans don't trust Carl..both his looks/how he will come across to viewers and his vocal abilities. But my gut feeling has been that Norway will win this and it hasn't changed. The song is just too good to be overlooked and Carl is so different that he also can't be overlooked.
At least until Russia presents its entry, I'm sticking with my first impression, that this is the best song this year and that he's the most honest artist this year...jeans and tattoos and whatever else he chooses to wear, I believe that viewers and juries will really appreciate this for what it is...real art.

I may be biased but I much prefer Carl's voice to Linnea's..she's a competent singer but his voice to me is just perfect...it's exactly the type of male voice I love.
