Sweden gave only 3points to Tooji... oh those Swedes, they tend to do that, giving less points to Norway than Norway to Sweden :D
Funny vid from 1996 when Ingvild Bryn says it all (starting 3:32) to Sweden during the voting in Oslo:lol:

I feel sorry for Tooji even if I dislike his song. He's not a great singer but the whole package was well produced and those tend to do well (like Eric last year), however voters didn't really fall for that neither in semi or in the final. Maybe Norway sends something dfferent next year like a ballad or something pop-rock.

I was thinking of you when I saw the results. While it was my personal least favorite of 2012 I know it was your favorite and I know it sucks. Same happened to me last year when Switzerland which was in my Top 3 ended up in last place.

Thanks for thinking of me.
Now seriously, it was horrible! I'm so glad I didn't watch the show. It must have been painful for Tooji. I'm sad. The outcome couldn't be worse. :(

Just noticed that my country donated 3 points to Norway.

It's quite usual for the Dutch to give points to this kind of songs and performances. For many Dutch it's good and real music.

The song was just mediocre. I couldn't stand Eric Saade's Popular last year, and Tooji's song was even less than that. The performance was poor, some guys jumping on a big and empty stage.

And it's just awkward for a butch guy like Tooji to do such girly dance moves....

I'm sorry for him. He could have shone with a different song and a different performance.

Tooji didn't deserve last place, really. Meanwhile, some worse songs made the top 15.

It wasn't a suprise. Song released in February. Since that date, everyone listened so many times, again and again.
Finally, in May, everyone was sick of this song. They had other favourites. Norway wasn't their worst entry but wasn't entry that for vote.

Hehe..Well there is no reason to give high points just because it's Norway? Perhaps Sweden have sent better songs during the years? ;)

Sure it's all matter of taste and what Norway send ;) It's was funny when Norway made calculation about the points they gave and got in return from Sweden ;D
It's like: dear neigbours, you aren't returning the favor enough ;) Ingvild was funny, she certainly had an attitude handling the voting, unlike nowadays when presentators are quite bland (with recent exception of Anke).

I thought Sweden would like Tooji's song. Not because it's from Norway but it's the style, act that recently dominates MF I guess. Like Danny, Eric etc...

True, but still... and I was quite the opposite with this song.

Of course Tooji deserved last place. The song was crap in the first place, and a mediocre, at best, performance didn't help. The best thing I can say about Norway this year is that we could have sent Plumbo, that would have been even more embarrassing. But Tooji seems like a nice guy, despite his latest interview telling how ridiculous ESC is and that he can't take a last place seriously. Oh well. I don't think we'll see him in the competition ever again.

I was rooting for Plumbo xrofl2

but yes, I see now that they wouldn't qualify (in that semi - no way). still, it is up for u to decide if it's better to stay in semi or to be last in the finals xshrug (that's an interesting question generally :D)
