I think there were two things that raised the quality of Eurovision again - the introduction of a second semifinal and the re-introduction of juries. I don't want to go back to 2006 to 2009, where I liked only one song out of 4 years (Israel 2008).
But the current system needs a fix. Whereas televoters are asked to vote for their favourite song(s), juries are asked to rank all participants. And I doubt if someone is capable of doing this fairly, since everyone has his personal favourites, but that's not more than 5 to 10 songs. Ranking 26 songs for an individual is quite a stretch and gives the power to vote against someone as well as voting for someone. And what I think is also unfair that middle of the road songs can get 12 points if televoters and juries disagree. (A country can get 12 points now even if it is outside both of the Top 10 of juries and viewers).
Let's go back to the old 50/50 system which was installed until 2012 or let's give the jurors 20 votes like the televotes, who have 20 votes as well. Also jurors should vote independently from each other, so they better don't know each other. Their votes should be supervised and confirmed by an audit firm like PwC.
