Hey so

I've been thinking of reviving the Spin-offs but in a totally different direction than we used to do.

Does anybody like the idea of Retro FSC Contests? Like, we pick a particular year, and (non-Eurovision) songs can only be sent from that year as if it were an actual FSC show. There's a lot of great songs out there that can't compete in FSC because they're too old, so this would have a chance to get us to show new old music. XD

A few years ago we had a similar thing - we had 50s, 60s and so on but only about 10 countries competed and we stopped doing it when we reached the 80s or something.

I like the idea, but oerhaps it's easier by decades? We can do spin-off for every decade starting from 50's - 60's maybe?
Either one, by year or decade I would participate.

I like this new enthusiasm. I propose we begin accepting submissions for the next spin-off after the September FSC show is published. I saw the Old Music Contest from back in 2009. It's been five years, so perhaps they should be revived.

I'll start a poll with the suggestions soon then.

i mean like there could be more than 1 person representing a country (in spin offs that's usualy not the case)

i imagined it like a constant spin off for fsc juries - along with fsc participation, jury participates in this spin off as well
